What a nice evening! Beautiful and sensitive food. Served with elegance.A bit expensive but not so much comparing to the atmosphere and quality.Beef and fish are delicious. Soup is delicate. A lot of menu. Choose your own one.Wine is excellent. I've tasted an Italian and a French cepage produced in America. Glasses are quite cheap. Pamper yourself and book a table!

Waiter offered my group of 4 free drinks with our meal if we wrote a TripAdvisor review right there in the store. I declined. This is a violation of TripAdvisor guidelines. This can artificially inflate the ratings of the restaurant. Very disappointing.

One chef per group - we were four. V. expensive menu. Wine was reasonably well priced. Food was ding, ding, ding - superb. Every course was perfectly served, delicious, and different. We chose all three standards of steak, and all were excellent. Service was personal, friendly and pleasant. Two teens very happy; two adult even happier. Really impressed.One tip. Make sure you confirm your booking directly. We arrived at a slightly awkward time when a nice French family who had booked 'via an agent' were informed that there was no record of their booking. Poor them, they missed out.

Didnât have the Kobe but the steak we had was extremely well cooked and delicious. The standards of the sides also top notch - particularly the wedges which may have been the best Iâve had. Service was good and staff catered for us appropriately. Would come back.

We wandered around Kyoto for a while looking for the âperfectâ Kobe Beef experience. We stumbled into this place after wandering around the city for a while and weâre not disappointed!!!Great value for the fantastic meal! Would definitely return!!!!!!!Taise was a great server and took very good care of us. Spoke very good English and was able to explain the menu very well to us!Highly recommend the Golden Set to compare Kobe and Wagyu Beef. The food and atmosphere are amazing. I went with a Japanese friend who speaks a little English, and I don't speak much Japanese. Fortunately our waiter had excellent English, and was kind enough to translate all of his conversation for me. It really helped me to enjoy the memorable meal. Also, we went on a Saturday afternoon around 1, and had the place to ourselves. Just us, the waiter and the chef. Great Japan experience.

We had a great meal here during the typhoon Hagibis. We had one of the set meals for two and it came with delicious vegetables, scallops, wagyu beef and gyoza. Everything was delicious and the beef was amazing! The owners were so friendly and accommodating. We will come back here next time we are in Kyoto.

We had lunch on our honeymoon there, and everything was downright perfect.The staff is welcoming and professional.We had the lunch menu of Mouriya sirloin.After a delicious pumpkin soup and a salad, the sirloins were cut and cooked right in front of us.It was delicious, one of the best meat we ever had.Thank you very much to chief Tsuyoshi Kawai for his skillful cooking and his professionalism.
