Lovely bustling market with a vast array of fruit, vegetables, honey and other wares. Many of the vendors are clearly local small farmers selling their produce for what appears to be very reasonable prices. Slovene honey is also widely available. A third of the market sells cheap clothing and shoes. Be aware though, I was told many of the vendors import their fruit & veg from Italy, if you are going to shop here please try to support the local farmers.

There is a permanent exhibitions in the gallery. There are mostly classical pictures and statues from local artist from Maribor and other regions of Slovenia. And there are exhibitions that change from time to time, like modern arts. Part of the gallery is at another location (Ulica Vita Kraigherja 3 - 11th floor), there are some modern arts exhibited too.
