Well the locals say that this restaurant is the best Mexican in town and that is relative as most Mexican restaurants in Villavicencio are simply average. What makes this place stand out is that the owner/chef is Mexican and tries to make the place as authentic as possible. It is a bit pricey and the portions small, but it is well worth it. Definitely go.

As I said in my review of Frutos del Mar, this restaurant is far better than they are and only one block away. Great food and service and their patio is much better too. It's in a neighborhood on a corner but don't let that deter you. This place is great!

Visited Frutos Del Mar at their new location between Unicentro and LlanoCentro. Its a very large, open dining area overlooking the main avenue in Villavicencio. The atmosphere is good and the traffic noise was not an issue on a Sunday afternoon. The prices are a little high but the quality of food was great. My parillada (grilled seafood platter) was delicious although the bottom was a little over done. My girlfriends seafood casserole was excellent. Both dishes had plenty of seafood and the flavors were perfect. The portion was more than adequate and it was served with a salad and patacones (large fried plantain chips) The service was fast and friendly. The price for the two lunches and two sodas was about $80,000 COP.

Contacted La CofradÃa to make a same day reservation for a special birthday dinner. My message was answered immediately and all of the arrangements were handled very professionally (Thank you Gina). Upon arrival everything was perfectly decorated just as requested, even some special balloons I had asked for. The service was excellent and very attentive. The four of us each had a different dish and the presentation, flavors and portions were all excellent. We were offered a musical serenade by two gentlemen with guitars and they were the perfect complement to the evening. Overall I can't say enough about our experience. The staff and the food made a special dinner even more enjoyable. Mr. Michael, it was a pleasure for LA COFRADIA to have been part of this special day for you. Thanks for trusting in our services. Limoncello is a great place to either have lunch or a good dinner!The restaurant is well organize, clean and with a nice outside patio.Service was great, caring and fast.Food was really good. We enjoyed the most the various appetizer but fish dishes were also really good.Only little complain was about the pizza, which was good and thin but I was expecting a little bit better..Cocktail were great! Recommend the white sangria! Different from the original but still really good!If you want a nice place for a good lunch and or a easy dinner, this is the place for you!

Great flavors and a nice selection of different dishes. Everything from the pizza to the salads and seafood dishes are just excellent. They have a nice, light, yet very flavorful tomato sauce and their chicken caesar salad is one of my favorites. They also offer an air conditioned dining area. The staff is very friendly and attentive, which unfortunately isn't always the case in many restaurants.
