El restaurante es muy bonito, la atención es muy buena como todo restaurante tÃpico del Quindio, sus instalaciones te hacen sentir que estas en esa región del Quindio y la comida, especialmente la lengua es muy buena, el único punto negativo es que es exageradamente costoso.

Visited Frutos Del Mar at their new location between Unicentro and LlanoCentro. Its a very large, open dining area overlooking the main avenue in Villavicencio. The atmosphere is good and the traffic noise was not an issue on a Sunday afternoon. The prices are a little high but the quality of food was great. My parillada (grilled seafood platter) was delicious although the bottom was a little over done. My girlfriends seafood casserole was excellent. Both dishes had plenty of seafood and the flavors were perfect. The portion was more than adequate and it was served with a salad and patacones (large fried plantain chips) The service was fast and friendly. The price for the two lunches and two sodas was about $80,000 COP.

Im not sure if this one is the one that I usually go too but the one that I go its located by exit to Bogota so you can tell any taxi driver. They have a few places but this one i think is better. Be ware it gets pack during weekend and monday holidays. Cholados is a mix of fruit with ice and several toppings. Some of them have ice cream and Milo a Chocolate powder. Its a very unique combination of tropical fruits from Colombia like guanababa, lull and passion fruit. to dogs are also good in this placeâ¦the menu can be bigâ¦so focus on the Cholados! Also is very inexpensive :)

Ordered takeout after hearing a recommendation from a Friend. Ordered a typical Plate with beef, pork, potato and yucca. Asked for lean cuts (less fat). The meat was deliciously prepared, not dry at all. The flavor was excellent. The potato And yucca were typical but an great side for the meats. The aji (typical hot salsa) that came with the meat was just the right amount of heat. Overall an excellent lunch.

I went with my family as I had read good comments here on Tripadvisor.Thres of us picked "Tipico llanero" which comes with beef and pork tenderloin, hayacas, potatos and salad.Beef and pork were overcooked so they were so hard, potato was undercooked so it was hard as well.Service was not great

Went for an early dinner and had the whole place to ourselves. About 7pm two large groups arrived for some type of celebration. Our service was fast and friendly. The menu has a lot of options from steaks to seafood to typical Colombian dishes. Everything was very good and the portions were large. Prices are the norm for this type of restaurant in this area. All seating is on a nice patio type area set above street level. Although the street is fairly busy the surrounding plants and shrubs dull the traffic and add to the homey patio feel of the dining area.

I went to this restaurant on a Sunday, with a group of friends, and it was very crowded. The service was slow and the waiter seemed distracted and in a hurry. I tried Mamona, which is a typical dish from Los Llanos in Colombia. The meat was unappealing, grey in appearance, and tasted very dry. A disappointing experience, based on the other reviews of this popular restaurant.

we got here as suggested by a hotel staff member. the place is outdoors, under a hut, so there is no a/c, and it is hot!!!!! having said that, the whole fried fish (mojarra) was great! so were the meat dishes. a man came by selling avocadoes to have at the table and they were good too. fast service, clean bathrooms, great stop

Reading all of these reviews after dining at Bastimento I am wondering if maybe it was just a bad night - things happen, right?A really nice menu with local flavors interwoven, and certainly, they know meat. Our steaks were tough, over cooked and not particularly hot. It's not like Bastimento was busy when we were there...so I chalked it up to people not caring.This is a pricey restaurant by Colombian standards. 10,000 COP for a Club Colombia, 50,000 for a steak. I expected better - and so should you. I would recommend many other restaurants ahead of Bastimento. And for sure, this is not even close to being one of the best restaurants in the country as claimed by other reviewers.
