Heilongjiang (Chinese: 黑龙江; pinyin: Hēilóngjiāng, Wade-Giles: Heilungkiang) is a province of the People's Republic of China. Located in the northeastern part of the country, Heilongjiang is bordered by Jilin to the south and Inner Mongolia to the west. It also shares a China–Russia border with Russia to the north and east. Maybe it’s just as wonderful during the rest of the year too but I can truly recommend it when snow-covered: it was majestic! Definitely worth trying to explore as much as you can because it goes on a lot further than it originally appears.
