Great food, we had a lovely chap called Billy come round our hotel every day. An as we were fed up with crappy hotel food, we thought it would be nice. Which it was, actually it was amazing!! We got picked up from hotel and taken to restaurant, once eaten we could walk round for a while and come back to get taken back to hotel when ready. Food top notch and service amazing!! Will be visiting again.

We stayed in hotel opposite this eattery so was very handy for us. The service is fab. Great prices the steak is too die for? Nice cocktails also. Well worth visiting they also do great breakfast!

Visited for our 9 year anniversary dinner whilst holidaying in Gumbet. Service was second to none, great value and a phenomenal steak each! Had the plank steak with mashed potatoes and veg with bernaise sauce. Cooked perfectly and came out quickly. Was about 60TL, absolute steal! Couldn't quite finish the generous portion but really enjoyed it nonetheless. Will return next year hopefully.

Tasty food but the manager (Inan Özcan) is scamming foreigners by putting additional dishes in you bill to make more money. In our bill he added Lokum (Turkish sweets) for 50 liras. So check your bill carefully before paying or skip this place.

We had a meal here on the last evening of our holiday. The outside dining area was very attractive, the food was excellent, as was the service. The staff were friendly and attentive. We would recommend this as a great place for a meal.

Just re-opened with new owner/management. Apo is the front of house man and he certainly makes you feel welcome from the moment you enter. It is a work in progress, and they have such plans, but I have to say that it was busy on all the occasions we visited and it is easy to see why as the food is just gorgeous and surroundings are very clean and comfortable. There are lovely little touches like pristine white table linen, and beautiful glasses. They will make anything for you and do any combination of meals you wish for. The food is delicious and plentiful - good portions. We tried, curries, fantastic homemade naan bread and onion bahjis, steaks, casseroles, fish dishes, prawns, all were very good and presented beautifully, and great value for money. We have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anyone who visits Gumbet, in fact I am confident that you will feel like family when you leave and return as soon as you can.....can't wait to go back.

Gonca Balik serves very good quality meze and sea food right by the sea. Calamari, grilled octopus, barbun ( local fish ) are all very fresh and well prepared and cooked.
Service is excellent and the owner Zeki Bey is a true local business man with respect for land and sea and all. They have swimming dogs to enojy watching as you eat you dinner too!
My only criticism is, they put a little too much oil in everything. Good olive oil though it is, it is a bit over the top.

Have been coming to the same hotel here for 4 yrs. Formally Bobby's Bar the Viva is great fun with lovely food and fab and freindly service. You can also watch sports here which thd men in our group loved :)Highly recommend a visit. Can't wait for our next trip here!
