This restaurant is a little out of the way from the main street but not too far and well worth finding. The quality of the food is incredible and the portion sizes are generous! Highly recommended.

Great Italian cuisine (original pizza on original thin dough!), fine music, tactful waiters. The place is held by a very charismatic Italian, cooking by himself, meets and the guests. A real gem, I strongly advise to visit this place at least once (I bet you'll get back))

A cosy bungalow restaurant in the north of the island, close to Ao Chaloklum. I ate a octopus salad and homemade fettuccine with gamberi and pomodorini, tiramisu.Everything fantastic!!! Alessandro, the owner from Rimini(Italy) does really a good job, trying to preserve on the dish, the typical taste of italian food."Un'italianitá" so far away from the mother country, who can only fascinating and make your evening unforgettable.

Nice place, good quality food & cheap prices, I tried the cheese burger & cheesy fries, burger was very tasty, I didn’t like the cheesy fries.
Also, they give you my menus of adjacent restaurants, in case you are not in the mood mood for burger, you can also place the order with them and someone will bring it to your table

Amazing Italian Restaurant with high quality ingredients and a nice Italian wine list. We loved it. Very nice friendly owner who takes care about every guest personally. It's usually very crowded so make sure I booked a table and u need to except some waiting time. Great 80ies music and beautiful design and ambience. There is just 1 big disadvantage I need to mention. The location of the restaurant is Very close to the ring road with a lot of traffic and the traffic noise is very annoying. For that reason 3 stars and not 5 as we think if u are out for Dinner you prefer tranquility and no noisy cars and motorbikes. Except the street noise there is nothing to complain! Great food, service and friendly family atmosphere.

Owned and operated by a husband and wife team, the cakes are delicious, both work together to bring freshness and goodness to us all. All baking done on premises, in the morning hours, so everything is fresh, all the time! The cafe is charming, warm and inviting, worth a visit, for sure! If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place to satisfy it!

My wife & I visited Hemmingway's on th Beach, on a recommendation today (28 March 2018). The Thai menu is varied and we could not fault the food or the service. We soent time chatting with the UK owner who explained things on the menu and we followed his recommendations.
Everything on the menu is made from scratch using locally sourced produce. At busy times, because everything is made from scratch you may have to wait a minute or two longer than you might like for your food but believe me the wait will ber worth it.
The chef, Jaa, is happy for you to watch her preparing the meals (from the door) and even gives weekly cokkery classes to tourists.
The UK owner is always there and is always ready for a chat about the menu, the weather, Thailand or anything else.
Interestingly the restaurant is named after the dog that he inherrited witht he site 3 years ago, Mr Hemmingway.
Superb food, nice venue, good conversation and reasonably priced. Excellent all round and well worth a visit.
Finally, please note that as there are no hotels or resorts close by they shut every day at 8pm.

We have recently relocated to Green Mango Food Court in a brand new restaurant to meet the needs of our growing customer list. Our chef "MAMA" cooks traditional and original best Thai food and also Western food like "Spanish Omelette". At Seafood by Pawn you can enjoy the best fresh fish BBQ. We also rent kayaks for people who want something more than just food, the price for the kayak is only 200 bths per full day. We are located at the top of the 'up' road in Mae Haad and across the road behind Green Mango food court where there is off street parking. Went there with my mother tonight. She had the pan fried fish with rice (14) and I had the baked fish with potatoes (15). Her fish was dry and tasteless and both of the salads tasted like cheap vinegar. The salad also had way to much dressing so it was all soggy.. my fish was good (swordfish) but the potatoes were a but hard. Pretty disappointing dinner....

We arrived for a dinner booking and were seated immediately. The restaurant was quaint, clean and open. We were approached not long after Seating with a drink menu and then another staff came along and went into to detail, thoroughly, the menu. He explained that the menu is catch of the day and is always changing. After ordering we waited a little for each course of food, but it was expected knowing that everything was to be prepared and cooked fresh. The food was exquisite and delicious. The staff were always attentive and friendly. They were so helpful, that when they noticed I was getting bitten by mosquito's (the restaurant is open and they did have mosquito coil's already under the table), I immediately had someone there with repellent spray and offered to spray for me. Wonderful service and worth the price.
