Stegna [ˈstɛɡna] (German Steegen) is a village in Nowy Dwór Gdański County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Stegna. It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) north of Nowy Dwór Gdański and 32 km (20 mi) east of the regional capital Gdańsk.

I stumbled upon this place on a drive from Warsaw to Gdansk. This place is right on Route E7 which connects Warsaw & Gdansk. The decor is very nice & classy. It's a great sit down restaurant. They have a HUGE bar with a decent selection. However the best part is the food. It's classic polish deliciousness! The portions are a good size. Their soups are great. They taste just like, my grandma used to make- really thick & creamy!
They also have very nice hotel rooms upstairs. This place is perfect if you want to stop in for the night, eat a good meal, get a good night's sleep, then head back on the road after breakfast. Fantastic for business travelers. This place is not located in a tourist area, so it's not a great spot to book a week at. But for food & a decent room, it's perfect!

Jeśli chodzi o klimat i wystrój to jest trafiony w 100 kolor, paski, czapki, fajki, cały marynarski ubiór.Jedzenie przepyszne. No i wnętrze pyszne.

Klimat Żuław czuć w każdym centymetrze tej uroczej restauracji. Jedzonko średnie, ale miejsce idealne do wypicia kawki i odpoczynku. Kocham Żuławy !!!

Tomek and staff are very friendly and accommodating. He speaks some English, so communication is not an issue. His restaurant serves a mixture of Polish dishes as well as Pizza. By far, the best Pizza I've had in all my travels in Poland.

Tomek said that they only use fresh ingredients. The dishes that we had backed up this claim. During my stay in Stegna, I ordered Polish dishes as well as Pizza. All tasted fresh and delicious.

Very prompt service. The staff served our drinks quickly. Our food also came out within reasonable time. The staff was also quick to clear out empty plates and cups.
PAYMENT [5 of 5]
The restaurant accepts credit card payments. However, like any small town business in Poland, cash is preferred and makes transactions go quickly.
DELIVERY [5 of 5]
The restaurant also offers food Delivery within the Stegna area. Delivery was prompt. I only had Pizza delivered, so I am not sure about other dishes.

There is limited street parking in front of the restaurant. There is also a paid parking lot directly across the street. However, when we were there, no one appeared to be collecting any parking fees.

Tomek and some of his staff speak English. However, if you are calling for Delivery, make sure that you ask for Tomek or someone who can speak English.

Upon arrival 2 tables were occupied. The restaurant looked clean, waitress immediately asked us what would we prefer - cake & coffee or full diner. Diner it was.
We ordered Cezar's Salad with chicken (very good with tasty dressing), soup (we thought it's gonna be buillon, well, it was but from the taste... from duck ?), Pancakes (frying pan might need replacement - these were burnt in the middle) and Pasta (OMG, so much fat that my cholesterol levels went skyrocket). Overall - food was above average, but in ours opinion chef needs a bit more training to get Mastery degree...

Don't get fooled by the look of the place, which is mediocre. Honestly, one of the best ice-creams I have ever tasted. Dare to say almost as good as the ones in Ljublana which still holds 1st place on my list. But the real jewel is the Iced-Coffee they serve. A masterpiece.

Zamówiliśmy 5 porcji dewolaja i tylko jeden był jadalny reszta śmierdząca i niezjadliwa. Surówki ok. Nie wiem o jakiej obsłudze jest mowa w komentarzach, bo my trafiliśmy na samoobsługę. Ceny jak nad polskim morzem.

Szukając przyzwoitego miejsca w Jantarze warto odwiedzić Gospodę przy Młynie. Nie grzeszy może wystrojem czy klimatem ale obsługa jest sprawna, jedzenie bardzo przyzwoite (ryby świeże, frytki nie pływają w oleju) i odnoszę wrażenie, że Właścicielom zależy na tym aby Goście jeszcze do nich wrócili. Zwiedziwszy Jantar wszerz i wzdłuż mogę powiedzieć że gospoda wybija się ponad średnią, choć przy odrobinie pracy nad detalami mógłby to być topowy lokal, mimo lokalizacji z dala od głównego "deptaku".
