Staying over the road at Gibson Garden Hotel so this is literally across from us .
Called in first time for drinks then returned with friends who ate there .
Big portions of excellently cooked food .
Plenty of staff waiting on who were excellent .
Large choice of beers - 16 !!!

So for those who don't know: The Beachcombers Television series produced by CBC Canada was shot on location in the Town of Gibsons on British Columbia's Sunshine Coast. The central gathering location was Molly's Reach restaurant and it still exists many years after the end of the TV series. Quaint, waterfront cafe in the heart of lower Gibsons that you can relax unpretentiously and enjoy a reasonably priced meal.

The Wheatberries Cafes all over the Sunshine Coast are Excellent! The Cranberry Granola is beyond fantastic and the range of choices in the restaurant are excellent. We enjoyed a spinach croissant and coffee while sitting on comfortable cushions and read all afternoon!

As other reviews point out, the staff here are rude and impatient, beyond belief actually!
The oysters are average, not exactly fresh and although they grated the horseradish fresh it didn't seem to have much of a kick to it!
The salmon cakes however were outstanding and the wine was also well-priced and delicious (we had the Chardonnay).
I wouldn't let the staff put you off, just expect bad service, stay away from the oysters and go for their main dishes instead.

I had the best Sandwich I ever had which was their Italian one had it with soup. Nice funky place with outdoor Seating and friendly staff best restaurant on Sunshine Coast everything was fresh and delicious and sandwiches were to die for. The wait was long for the food but worth it . Meals run about 15$ there including drink.

Tried Sita's new Sunday brunch today & it is one of the best brunches we've had anywhere for a long time.
Everything fresh fresh fresh fresh fresh.
Leans a bit more to breakfast but with all the home made muffins & Strudel etc. it really pops.
Eggs Benny were as fresh as kitchen-ordered. Better than any big city buffet or cruise ship.
Service was attentive and friendly.
The price was $20 or $15 for seniors ! Where can you eat so well for so little?
This is a must try for everyone.
Kudos Deano, see you next Sunday. :)

Fabulous, Friendly and Professional Fine Dining. Choose from ala carte or a set menu, this is one of the most hospitable restaurants that we have ever visited. The Restaurant Head is knowledgeable far beyond the scope of the very beautiful coastal rural surroundings. Worth a trip to Gibsons just for Chasters and the Lodge is a great boutique hotel. They aim to please and the surely do.

Not sure when it was painted pink and people started calling it "Pink House". However, this historic building is greatly attached and adding charm to this town for certain. An interior featuring unique low-ceiling designed with the essence of Japanese architecture offers intimate warm atmosphere. Extended outside deck is made of local cedar and brings privacy and enjoyment to watch activity on the main street of Gibsons Landing.

You can always tell when the person making your food knows what they are doing. From the presentation on the dish to the quality and freshness of the food. These people moved to a larger location and didn't loose their personal touch. Hiro and his wife have a great location in lower Gibsons. There staff are friendly. This place is worth going back to.
Closed Sunday/Monday. Just the right size portions.

I have been going to Sweet Water since it opened. I operated a BB in Gibsons and sent my guest there as well. The hospitality of the Owner/Hosts, Brigitta and Andrew, enhance the ambiance. The delicious meals that flow from the kitchen are, too soon, consumed and the patron wishing for more.
