This restaurant is fantastic, the decor alone could keep you entertained for hours. The drinks were awesome, and the food was even better. The meat was delicious and perfectly cooked. You get a ton of food between the soup, salad, veggies, tofu, and the main entrees. I had steak with foie gras and it was all perfect and tasted wonderful. We also shared some prawns and they were perfect. Overall it was a wonderful evenings,
As a side note make sure you visit the bathroom and look at the fish tank walls!

Good buffet choice for breakfast and lunch but menu is limited if you want to enjoy rather than buffet. Very good staff and always attentive.

First, this restaurant had AMAZING risotto on the buffet and their round omelettes were perfectly cooked. They also make eggs Benedict to order. I like them, my wife didn't. They were made with braised pork belly instead of Canadian bacon and used house-made bread. While not traditional I thought it was still tasty. The variety of foods wasn't as large as many hotels in Japan have on their breakfast buffet but everything was very nicely executed. For only 1,080¥ (about $8.50 at today's exchange rate) it was well worth it.

They provide a wide variety of food, local foods of Okinawa, Japanese dishes, pizza and pasta, sushi, ramen, to name a few. However, in high season, there is a long que to just get seats in the restaurant.

The restaurant here is over 47 years old and has quite a history and some nostalgia behind it. The view is very nice and the old jute box works very well.
My wife and I stopped here for lunch after hearing good reviews about this restaurant. Maybe it was our fault, but we had fried rice and some sweet-and-sour beef. The food was alright but I also had a hamburger since I was still hungry. I will say the hamburger was a very good for the taste and value.
After looking around the restaurant, I noticed many other patrons who had ordered sandwiches which looked very good.

This is a very popular Okinawa soba restaurant that is regularly filled Original Okinawa soba noodles into which asa (sea lettuce) has been kneaded and soki (pork rib) soba are favourites among diners.
This diner was recommended by my hotel concierge at ANA Intercontinental Maza Hotel which was just a few minutes drive away. That referral made us so happy! certainly a great introduction to Okinawa dishes as it was our 1st meal after arriving at Okinawa.
Payment for dishes are via a automated ordering machine...insertt about 5000-10000Y , then press the items you want on the tabs..the machine auto tabulate and refunded the balance money. Japanese light tea or cool water are complimentary and placed on the table.
Enjoy the sea view as you feast on your meals...fabulous ! 2 thumbs up!

Okashi-Goten is a regular commercial stop for the Okinawa one-day sightseeing buses. The facade is very impressive, built in the Shurijo castle style. The stalls mostly sell sweet potato tarts and other confectioneries. If you don't intend to pack your bags with these souvenirs you may not find the place interesting. There is one saving grace, however, in the form of a restaurant in the second level. Restaurant Churaumi has an inviting interior with the far-end wall displaying the wide spread of the glinting blue sea.
The tour bus passengers may have a hearty lunch there enjoying the sea view. The prices are reasonable and you get good Japanese cuisine like Stew of a Pork slice, Peanut Tofu, Salmon Sashimi, Seafood Sarada and so on. A Fresh Tuna Bowl is priced at Y 1450. You get good confectionery items and ice cream as well.
You will have to be quick with your lunch because the stopping time for the tour buses is 30 minutes approximately.

1000 yen for shaved ice seemed a little pricy, however it was totally worth it! I loved the fresh fruit. We got mango, passion fruit, dragon fruit, and pineapple. Mango and passion fruit was my favorite. They top it with a small scoop of ice cream and drizzle a little condensed milk.

This burger shop is very quaint and hipster-like. Tiny little cafe with photos of cats plastered on the walls make for some entertainment. We actually ate here three times during our 5 day stay in Okinawa. The meat is a very nice mixture. Priced very reasonably as well. There is only one girl working there. She is very quiet and humbled by good company. Try the Hawaiian burger. You won't regret it.
