アーチ式タワーの138タワーの周囲に造られた総合公園です。遊具や自然体験施設が造られていて、家族連れで賑わっています。また、周囲にはランニングやウォーキング、サイクリングのコースが造られていて、多くの人が汗を流していました。

There are plenty of marine Aquariums around Japan, but this one is specifically Freshwater. Huge variety of exhibits, and probably one of the only places you'll see things like the Japanese giant salamander.

別名、国府宮神社とも国府宮(こうのみや)とも呼ばれる神社ですが、何よりも、旧暦１月１３日に催行されるはだか祭りとかで有名らしい。この種類の祭りには個人的には全く興味もないし好きでもないが・・。尾張の国の総社として参道や社殿、楼門はそれなりに立派なものでした。

Last autumn, we took our grandson here to let him play with playground equipment that is fixed all the year around. We often come here with family because various event takes place here through four seasons. Sometimes you can see the charter buses for tourist or the school bus for kindergartners at the parking of this park.

近隣に用事があり、立ち寄って見ました。駅名にもなっておりますが、駅からは少しあるきました。思っていたよりも立派なお寺となっており、敷地も広かったです。自然豊かな場所とはなっておりましたが、平日のため人はおりませんでした。

I didn't expect to see traditional festival dancing in this festival so was pleasantly surprised when I did see it! Tons of food and shop vendors. Several city blocks closed to this festival. Went on first night so it closed early, 9pm.

Konomiya's Hadaka Matsuri is based on a traditional Shinto ritual, Owari Okunitama Shrine's Naoi Shinji, or "Dispelling of Misfortune Ritual." Held on January 13 on Japan's old lunar calendar, the festival sees thousands of men-particularly those at the critical ages of 42 and 25-descend upon the shrine clad only in bleached loincloths, or simply white tabi socks and nothing else. From among these crowds emerge holy men in white kimonos, and the struggle among the festivalgoers to be touched by the holy men and supposedly be spiritually cleansed can get quite fierce. The buckets of water carried by the men can give off steam from all the surrounding body heat, making for a stirring-yet quite feverish-sight.

Hadaka Matsuri, which is literally a “Naked Festival” in English, is held only once in a year on a particular day of February at Owarinokunitama Shrine (known as Konomiya Shrine).

地元出身の女流画家三岸節子画伯の生家跡地に建つ美術館。周囲は住宅地で、一宮や岐阜羽島からビミョーな距離。バスやタクシーで行けないこともありませんが、自分で運転したほうが確実。特別展「森田りえ子展」を見に行きました。同じ女流画家としてリスペクトしているようです。特別展・企画展は２階で実施。１階常設展・展示室にはヨーロッパの風景画や静物画の作品が展示。その奥には土蔵展示室としてアトリエが再現され、かつて敷地内にあった織物工場を彷彿させる鋸屋根とあいまって、公民館以上の存在感が窺い知れます。興味のある方は立ち寄ってみては如何。
