Centralkrogen is a very nice restaurant. Great food and a really nice atmosphere. Have tried the buffet and dishes from the regular menu. Everything has been delicious. The staff is always nice and friendly and makes one feel really welocome.

As previous reviewers have pointed out this is an alterntive to McDonalds and truck stop diners. From that perspective this is great. Good food, many different dishes and everyone in a tired family find something they can eat. The place is of 'diner class' so don't expect to find a fancy place.

Vi stannade till och tog en kaffe med våffla. Fint gammalt trähus vid ån, kanske en gammal vattenkvarn? Vi satt utanför i solen på en träveranda i ett skyddat hörn mellab husen. Inne i fiket såg det också mysigt ut. Trevlig personal var det.

When visiting the town of Tranås it is nice to Take a pause from shopping by resting your felet and have lunch at Golden Thai. You Will appreciate the good food and great flavours from the kitchen.

To find Albackens Tradgardskafferi you need to turn off the main E4 road just after Mjölby (if you are driving towards Stockholm). A bit trick but the search is well worth it. The menu was very nice and tempting - and the food is made there! No factory produced, microwave heated highway diner mush. Here they serve the real thing. And the nice women who run the place are just as pleasant. Greta place, which also happens to double as a shabby chic graden centre. Interesting combo!

Not being particularly impressed with Swedish service stations we turned of the E4 and followed to the signs for Central Konditori in Vaderstad. Situated 3 minutes off the motorway about mid way between Stockholm and Helsingborg near to Lake Vattern, this is the perfect place to stop for a snack. Beautiful fresh bakery products to eat in, outside in the garden or to take away. Pleasant staff and a makes a good place to rest during the five and a half hour drive. Much better than a petrol station - you'll be pleased you took the extra five minutes because that's all it will take.

Als je niet te veel verwacht is dit een prima gelegenheid om te lunchen. Keuze genoeg, tevens mogelijkheid om het buffet te gebruiken. Prijzen zijn vriendelijk en de kwaliteit is redelijk goed.
