Lovely swimming pool with slides and pool located near serene river. Beautiful outlook. Outdoor 50m pool also lovely grounds for the brave hearted (her at end of July and only 14degrees C!

Det blev ytterligare besök vid ett av de få glasbruk som fortfarande är i bruk. De flesta etablerade glasbruk har i dag flyttat sin verksamhet utomlands och har endast kvar sina butiker kvar i Sverige.
Men vill man ta del av hur glasblåsning går till bör man bege sig till Mantorps glasbruk. Glasbruket är inte så stort vilket gör att man får god kontakt med den kunnige glasmästaren. Öppettider är vardagar från 08:00 till 17:00, lördagar från 08:00 till 14:00 Söndagar stängt.

En kyrka med enorm akustik. Har en enorm orgel. Fler kända artister kommer gärna hit och gör inspelningar. Den 7/4-17 kommer Tomas DI Leva hit. En vacker kyrka med gamla anor. Och hela Skänninge präglar gamla anor.

Flygvapenmuseum, the Swedish Air Force Museum, is a modern technical and cultural history museum with Exhibitions that trace the development of military aviation from the pioneers of the early 20th century to the present. It offers a unique collection of aircrafts, many of which can only be seen at the Swedish Air Force Museum. Perhaps the most spectacular object in the collection is the Swedish DC-3, an aircraft that was a shot down by a Soviet fighter aircraft in 1952. More than fifty years later the DC-3 was found, salvaged and put to its final resting place here at the museum. Flygvapenmuseum is a place where knowledge and play come together in a natural way. The museum's science centre, the Flight Lab, features flight simulators and experimental stations on the theme of flying. Become a pilot for a day and sit behind the controls of the flight simulator - like flying for real!

My wife and I spent a few hours at the museum, which was fantastic and was not only enlighting on the Swedish involvement and development of airplanes but also very informative on the Swedish involvement during the world wars
What was an added bonus was to see the aircraft that was shot down by Russian Migs
Recovered/salvaged from the bottom of the ocean many years later,is now in the museum

Det här stället skulle kunna vara helt perfekt. Flera pooler, lekplats, stora grönområden. Mycket bra saker! Men poolerna är lite småsunkiga och mycket andas istället enkel camping.

Regardless if you are interested in birds or not; visit Tåkarn. Amazing and very nicely build place. Opened in 2012 by our king. See the 15 minutes film describing the history and current fauna. A must
