Went there for business lunch, nice atmosphere, great welcome and delicious food. the place is very cozy, very charming! decent price but again the food is excellent!!!

Our restaurant is located on the bank of river Krka in a green, peaceful and beautiful enviroment with a roofed Terrace where more than 100 guests can be seated. We too have inner Seating where we serve food, drinks and Deserts. We can also provide place for larger groups of people, weddings, celebrations, Concerts etc. In a multipurpose hall which has sound and light system both installed and ready to use. Really good dessert (I had raspberry crostata) while ice cream (stracciatella) was very creamy and not that good. Staff was ok: neither friendy or rude. The atmosphere and the location are cool. You can have a nice walk by the river also and the place is really big. Liked it!

Just by the highway Lj - Zg there’s a very nice local restaurant with great plates of traditional and all kind of continental dishes. We eat Kmecki kroznik. Portions are almoust big enought for two and prices are acceptable. the place and service are very pleasent and wellcoming.

Last year we had dinner in the restaurant and the experience was very good, this year we decided to stop just for a drink before dinner. The weather was not good, so the place was empty; we entered and asked if we could have a drink; the waiter who welcomed us was not really friendly, but told us that it was possible.
We were asked to sit in a small room, and another waiter came to ask what we wanted to drink. No drinks menu, no wine list (we were going for wine), nothing.
The waiter explained they had just two red and two white wines by glass, and was a bit surprised when we wanted to know more about those wines (probably he was not expecting we were connoisseurs). We were served the two glasses, with nothing on the side: no chips, no nuts, no olives... Nothing at all. I was really disappointed... If this is a 5 star hotel and they want to be open to outside guests who come in just for drinks, they have to be up to the standards of 5 star hotels, not only when it comes to the prices, but also (or most important) to the service.

There was a small group of 14 people to cellebrate 50'th birthday.Separate room,with every dish there was special wine,appetizers small,tasteful-to die for and main course-deer with cranberries or steak-excellent.Sommelier lead us through the whole meal and at the end-learning how tto open a champagne bottle wirh the sword.Mission was completed in a third tryout.Everyrhing superb.Strongly recomend.For 51 we will be back.

It seems that some restaurants where the chef/ owner finds the right balance between local and fusion food, where the staff is kind, unformal and the costumers are satisfied, suddenly they loose that balance and.... and they become upscale restaurant with high prices and still the same service level. But as said with higher pricing policy....
As said, good food, average service, pricing seems a little too high...?

Should you find yourself driving along Ljubljana-Zagreb highway, either direction, invest 2-3 hours into an extraordinary pleasure. Visit "Debeluh", the restaurant in the very centre of a small town of Brežice.
The cosy and comfortable atmosphere, along with hospitable greetings are always an excellent start. However, what comes next is top! Beautifully presented, creative dishes, accompanied by solid local wines will make your day, be it lunch or dinner, regardless.
We opted for a 4-dishes tasting menu. The hot appetizer, pasta with zucchini and pumpkins, topped with the young goat cheese was our #1. Of course, the other three were close.
And finally, one really observes and feels the tradition. The current young chef continued his father's path in a modern, professional way. That cannot be bought.
