This was our first visit in Petanoi beach and in Ksouras tavern this year. We had a lunch consisted of stuffed peppers with seafood, and cod fish pie. All were delicious as always! Of course, service was fast and attentive, the prices in the low region, and the view tremendous! Petanoi beach is one of the best Kefalonian Beaches and Ksouras tavern one of the best, if not the best, traditional Kefalonian taverns. Worth the visits.

Fancied a change from Greek taverna food and was delighted to spot Paralos. We all had Pizzas and they were all great, as was the service. Highly recommended.

We went to the beach daily and used the sunbeds offered by Milos and then ate at the restaurant every lunchtime. My partner drank beer there throughout the day!!! The staff are so welcoming and friendly with excellent English and with great sense of humour. We did not have enough days in our holiday to try everything on the menu unfortunately, but we had something different everyday and not one day were we disappointed. The view from the restaurant over the beach is great, and it is nice and cool on the Terrace. SUPERB, SUPERB SUPERB - cannot recommend enough.

Delicious food served by a very business-like lady who definitely did not want to make small talk but delivered the goods! Delicious chicken souvlaki and salads. Very popular little place!

The reviews for this restaurant are amazing and we had such very high hopes (banked on it being the restaurant of our stay). Everything that everyone says is true, the views are amazing and the cocktail bar is pretty cool too.
The food is very good but for us it just wasn't the special experience we'd been led to believe we would experience. We'd booked and were seated quickly but then almost forgotten for quite some time and couldn't attract a waiter or anyone to serve us drinks. When we were served it then became quite rushed with mains arriving whilst we were still eating starters. I know that can be quite "Greek" but we thought we'd have more of a relaxed eating experience here. We did retire to the cocktail bar which enhanced the evening as very relaxing.
So we are glad that it's a special place for many and hopefully when we return to Cefalonia we'll return and see this restaurant as others do.
