Filey is a small town and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the East Riding of Yorkshire, it is part of the borough of Scarborough between Scarborough and Bridlington on the North Sea coast. Although it was a fishing village, it has a large beach and became a popular tourist resort. According to the 2011 UK census, Filey parish had a population of 6,981, an increase on the 2001 UK census figure of 6,819.

This is our favourite Italian restaurant and we’ve been coming since our two children were very little. It’s genuine, home cooked, rustic food and that’s what is great about it. It’s not pretending to be fine dining, it’s a family run restaurant - owned by Italians.
What more could you want after walking all day in the sea air than some tasty antipasto, pizza, tasty pasta dishes and Prosecco to wash it down.
We plan our holiday to Filey around Bella Italia, we love it that much!
We’ll be back again this year & hopefully it will be open in October when the kids are off school!

We were totally blown away by our visit to SAN Marco. We checked the positive reviews and can only agree with all the positive reviews. Amazing value, amazing food and amazing welcoming staff. We will be back as soon as we can.

this place is only small but very nice. My husband asked some questions about which of their many teas to have and the lady was so helpful. The coffee was good as well

We called in for coffee on a Sunday morning. The staff were friendly & the bar area where we opted to have coffee was immaculate, bright & had a super sea view. The quirky 'Alice' theme was intriguing too!. The restaurant looked elegant & very tempting as did the menu so we will be returning for lunch or dinner.

Visited Filey to have lunch at the Lighthouse. We were here last year, and the food was excellent as usual. Lovely setting and friendly, cheerful helpful staff.
As the weather was very cold I opted for the Chilli and Rice. Very tasty and very warming, followed by a delicious Rhubarb Crumble.
Looking forward to our next visit already!

Staying with friends in Filey we decided to go out for breakfast on Sunday morning. We came across this lovely little place and were definitely not disappointed.
The gentleman running the place was a very friendly, chatty man, who was more than happy to rearrange the table to accommodate us and tended to our every requirement.
Our breakfast was lovely, consisting of two sausages, eggs, tomato, beans and toast together with a teapot of tea for 5 and a top up offered too.
Not too pricey so that's a bonus and very clean and comfortable.

Visited Sunday lunch time around 1.30pm but it was full inside, went for a walk around and returned 20 mins later and Seating was available . We both enjoyed haddock & chips and shared a pot of mushy peas. It was worth the wait, we could not fault the product or the service, will be back.

Visited with our son, daughter in law and granddaughter for the afternoon tea with a difference. Menu of soup, tomato and green pepper, excellent, lasagne and garlic bread very tasty, very fresh sandwiches, fruit scones and cakes. Also served tea and a mocktail in a light-bulb. Our granddaughter had chicken nuggets and chips instead of the soup and lasagne, chicken very white and moist.
All in all a great experience and will return to try other things on the menu. The tea and Prosecco sounds very nice.
Would recommend to all visitors to Filey.

Having organised our breakfast here before we travelled to Filey our party of eleven were well impressed with all aspects of our visit. Good food, great staff and a crackin cup o tea!!
The breakfast set us up nicely for our day of golf, so many thanks guys much appreciated.
