I've visited Alpbach 3 times, the last being 2009. I'm returning in just three weeks' time and cannot wait for what I know all to well will be a repeat pleasure of the finest order. Priced nicely for good beer and fabulous food, all delivered with beaming friendliness!!(Note: I was unable to refer to my visit being earlier than February 2018 -- see below) David Cartwright,Durban, South Africa.

Let me starting by saying I am an Indian national working here in Austria. Pizzeria Don Camillo is just in the neighbourhood of my residence and also one of the most popular pizzeria's around. My Austria colleagues and friends tell me that many of their patrons come from as far as Wörgl, Schwaz, Jenbach, Buch etc. in addition to other nearby villages. This kind of patronage can indicate only one thing - The quality of their food and service. To the food now. The menu is largely Italian as the name of the restaurant suggests. They offer a wonderful variety of appetizers, salads, pastas, pizzas, rissoto and dessert. Each one of the food item has its own wonderful taste and outperforms the other. One must come here to feel what I am saying.The service too is exceptionally good. The staff here is very courteous and friendly. Many of them are bilingual (Speak English & Deutsche - Including their menu cards). So foreigners visiting this place will not have any problem.A definite recommendation to others

We were staying in the hotel next door and found limited choice of places to eat in the village, but Flax was so good we were happy to eat there every night. We had great service, the food was honest, wholesome, with healthy options and great value for money.

Found this restaurant on a recent ski trip whilst staying in Stumm. Very accommodating as there were 26 of us and lovely friendly service. Take away pizzas were fab, the sit in meals even better. My father-in-law has been banging on about how good the lasagne is at this place for years. His claim...'It's the best in the world.'And so, even though we were staying in a perfectly good village, with perfectly good restaurants,15km away, we piled in the car and drove to Fugen.The restaurant was busy and we didn't have a reservation so were lucky they could fit us in. In hindsight we should have reserved, but my father-in-law couldn't remember the actual name of the restaurant.To be honest, the lasagne was very good (maybe not world-beating), but it was very pleasant indeed.We had a selection of ice cream deserts which were ok...fairly standard for Austria - lots of sweet sauces and whipped cream.The decor is traditional and getting a little tired. The place could probably do with a refurb.The staff were helpful and attentive. Overall good, but not very good.

PizzaPub offers the same menu as the restaurant it is attached to, however we went to it specifically for pizza, so my review reflects the pizza only. The pizzas were very large and even with a side of pommes (chips/fries) it was more than filling! The atmosphere is great too, and could be quite romantic if you were so inclined. Service was excellent, Food was tasty.We ordered Zillertal beer 2.8 Eu.Gulaschsuppe 4.1Salad 7 Eu.Hamburger 3.9 Eu.Pizza 8 Eu.Cake with Ice-cream scoop 4.1 Eu.In Austria they allow smoking in the resturant.We were seating in the balcony so it was disturbing.Other than that we enjoyed.

The calzone was filled with vegetables out of a jar, put french fries in there and you have a mitrailette.... In belgium this is fast food. The rest of the food was ok. So dont nr.19 of the menu.

I just do not have anything good to say about it! Very poor menu, awfully presented and prepared, stupid waitress, no WiFi, limited variety of beverages, general look of a dirty place, high prices! I hardly remember being to a more awful place!Hallo Radu, ich glaube dass Ihre Bewertung eher Ihre Laune wiederspiegelt und nicht das tatsächliche Bild unseres Lokals. Ich glaube auch nicht das 100 andere Gäste sich bei Ihrer Bewertung geirrt haben. Zu unseren âkurzen Menüâ ja es hat keine 100 Positionen da wir nicht aus dem Tiefkühlfach kochen, sondern unsere Gerichte frisch zubereiten. Sie haben gestern Ein Steak und 3 Burger gegessen, ich wundere mich aber nicht, dass es Ihnen nicht geschmeckt hat, schlieÃlich haben Sie einen Vegi Burger bestellt und das ohne Feta, bei diesen VEGI BURGER ist Feta der Hauptbestandteil welches normalerweise das Fleisch ersetzt. Man könnte also auch ein Steak ohne Fleisch, oder einen Hamburger ohne Semmel bestellen, wäre das gleiche. Ich wundere mich nicht, mir würde eine Semmel mit SoÃe und Salat auch nicht unbedingt zusagen. Vielleicht wäre es besser ein anderes Gericht zu wählen. Wie die Gerichte aussehen, sehen sie in der Foto Galerie, ich verstehe es aber, dass es Ihnen nicht zusagt, es ist unmöglich es jedem Gast recht zu machen. Des Weiteren sind die Preise zu hoch, die Frage ist für welche Verhältnisse, ein 350g Rib Eye Steak mit Handcut Fries, Salat und Chimichurri für 22,90⬠ist GARANTIERT der niedrigste Preis in Zillertal!!! Es tut mir sehr leid, dass es Ihnen bei uns nicht gefallen hat und hoffe das Sie in Ihrem Urlaub im Zillertal ein Restaurant finden welches Ihre Vorstellungen erfüllt.
