Excellent remote walking tour of the old city of Tbilisi with Bacho via internet. The technology worked well and Bacho has perfect English. Bacho is a friendly and very well informed guide. It was wonderful to get a taste of this beautiful and interesting looking city in the only way possible in current circumstances. Georgia is now very high on my list of countries to visit when circumstances allow and I will not hesitate to contact Bacho and Georgian holidays to help plan my trip. Highly recommended. Many thanks. Mike Davey England

The soaring Caucasus Mountains separate Europe from Asia, and the South Caucasus countries are on that borderline.  Inhabitants of Azerbaijan burned crude oil in their lamps before anyone knew what it was.  Beautiful, rocky Armenia was the first country to adopt Christianity as its official religion.  And Georgia, acclaimed for its fabulous food and drink, claims to be the first area to cultivate the wine grape. These countries are distinguished by their distinct histories, traditions, cultures and natural surroundings

Firstly credit where it’s due - value for money on our tour of the Southern Caucuses was pretty good as it was half board. The downside of that was that we never got to choose any of our own food and, although there was a variety of dishes served, it’s not the same as having a free choice. Secondly, the tour started each morning right after breakfast, went on all day and finished by going straight to dinner in the evening. This meant no free time at all which isn’t good when you’re visiting foreign countries. Finally, all of our tour group wanted to visit a bazaar one day, rather than yet another church. However, we were told that we weren’t allowed to. We didn’t appreciate being treated like children since all the group were between late 30s and late 70s.

I will miss this adventure and hopefully will travel again with you guys, thanks so much!

I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend in Tbilisi with a colleague and was given Rati's name (Splendid Tours Georgia) as a guide. What an amazing experience from his pick-up at the airport, to his drop-off at the end. Friday we spent 11 hours with Rati and Saturday we spent the day until he dropped us off for our flight. Rati is beyond knowledgeable. If you ask: "what's that", you not only get the answer but the history as well. He listened to what we wanted to do, went above and beyond to show us around, and arranged the most fun-filled, historical, informational weekend adventure. Rati will customize the tour to your likes. There's so much to see in Georgia that it's definitely beneficial to have a knowledgeable guide to take you. Rati speaks amazing English and can also speak Georgian (of course) and Russian. You won't go wrong with Rati!

If you are in Georgia, I highly recommend Gamarjoba Tours. The day we arrived, Sasha picked us up from the airport. He was very friendly and super cheerful and explained te needful details and helped us with sim cards and currency exchange. Then we were taken to their office and we met the entire crew who were wonderful to us. Alex took us on the Old and New tbilisi tours and he is extremely passionate and patient. He literally knows everything about everything from modern to old and he was such a delight to be with. He also introduced us to some locol cuisine which we enjoyed very much. The next day, Mariam who is super sweet and patient took us on the mountain tour. We loved her as well and had great conversations with her. Lastly, we want to thank Baya who seamlessly planned all our trips including airport transfers. She was also available on watsapp at all times and making sure we are okay :) overall, we would give these guys 10/10

From beginning to end, Exotour proved themselves to be a professional business. Mariam (and Nico) dealt with all my questions and the payment process in a very timely manner and with great courtesy and warmth. The trip was really well-organised and then guided by Paata, who was informative, warm and friendly and treated me more as a guest than a client. I felt like I was being shown Georgia by a good friend. He knew all the places to get the best versions of the local food, while on the road.
