新しいが和の古き良き特徴が沢山
Reviewed By mikarin77坪庭を見ながらのお風呂、野草がそこかしこに飾られていることや、砥部焼きのグラスなどが使用するためにも飾りとしても惜しみなく置かれていること、座布団１つ、どれをとってもセンス溢れます。二階の天井に大きな梁が渡してあるのがまた素敵で、更にベッドの寝心地も素晴らしい。翌朝お向かいのカフェ こころで頂く和朝食は別料金ですが、是非ともお試しください！益々この宿と、内子の町並みの虜になってしまうこと請け合いです。

Reviewed By gonnta0987２０１９年５月１８日の夜宿泊。飾り気のない心のこもった魚料理。刺身、大皿煮魚。出来立ての野菜天ぷら。貝の味噌汁。魚炊き込みご飯。水炊き。おいしい料理でした。朝食も焼き魚がついていました。前夜の７炊き込みご飯はラップに包んで昼食にしました。静かでstaffの皆さん親切でした。また泊まりたいです。

Reviewed By kasutori1泊しました。夜の食事は、お刺身・水炊き等色々。とにかくお刺身が新しい！なかなかここまで新鮮なお刺身は食べることが出来ないので、嬉しかった。少しでも時間がたつと、生臭くなる時もあるのに（私、鼻がよく聞くのです。わんわん）、まったく臭くない。とにかくここまで新鮮なものは食べることが出来ないので、美味しかったー。魚好きな人にはお勧め。生臭い魚が苦手な人には、おすすめです。佐田岬の道中は、桜が満開だった。

Reviewed By Funfun2755中村梅雀さんが、テレビ番組「人生最高レストラン」で紹介している。 今治市街から、しまなみ海道を通って行く。大島南インターを下りて3.3キロ。海岸線あり、山道あり。食事だけも可能。 民宿の前には、瀬戸内海。 遠方からのお客様をご案内した。 とにかく新鮮なせとうちの海の幸を食べさせてくれる。リーズナブルなセットもある。

Absolutely the best authentic bed and breakfast with dinner option in Uchiko
Reviewed By rshevlin2017Oyado Tsukinoya is a " Minshuku", Japanese for B & B. This 3 room inn on the pedestrian street with the famous old buildings in Uchiko is run by a delightful couple ( hardly any English spoken, we were their 2nd "western" guests ever). 2 bedrooms overlook the street and the 3rd looks at next door neighbor, all bedrooms on 2nd floor via stairs (not ADA). Each bedroom has its own combo heating/ac unit and comes with futons etc. The 6 guests share one toilet room, and a separate bathroom with a soaking tub for one person. Sharing of the soaking tub room is informally controlled by the owners & guests. We didn't find this system a problem and we each had a good soak each evening. Absolutely one of the best things about this B&B is the option to have a home made dinner. One sits at a table with sunken place for your feet underneath (so it feels western like to sit down, no need for crossed legs on a cushion). You may share one of the 2 tables with another B & B guest which we did, making a new Japanese friend! While not inexpensive by Japanese standards at about $25 person with a beer or a glass of sake, this set meal according to the seasons (locavore) WILL BE THE MOST INTERESTING AND AUTHENTIC MEAL YOU WILL HAVE WHILE IN JAPAN. It is a huge meal, consisting of about 10 separate courses, with both fish & meat dishes, along with many vegetables prepared in a number of ways. Our second day we deliberating ate a tiny lunch so we could eat more at dinner, as we loved the meal so much we opted to have it again our second night. Breakfast is Japanese style, with soup, salad, rice, vegetables, a little fruit etc However, coffee & tea is served. Breakfast is good. If you are just dying for baked goods, there is an excellent bakery about halfway down the main street towards the train station. Great cinnamon rolls etc. Staying at this friendly little B & B will always be a high light of our trip to Japan. It is difficult to book, as their website is in Japanese. If you are not working with a Japanese based travel agency, contact the Uchiko tourist office & they will make the reservation for you. This is what we did. Like many places in Japan, this B & B accepts only cash, no credit cards

河辺路に春を求めて。
Reviewed By ShinyaTsuno3月の末、愛媛県でも山間部の河辺路には未だ桜を楽しめる場所が沢山あると聞き、カメラ片手に一番山奥の宿であるいわな荘さんにお世話になりました。 夕食、朝食共に新鮮な川魚料理で大満足。 釣りも楽しめ価格以上の価値がありました。

A good night stay during Shimanami Kaido Cycling
Reviewed By Chester YAfter 5 hours of hard cycling we were warmly welcome by a decent lady staff who had moved to Japan from Shanghai, China 17 years ago. The room is in Japanese style (tatami), it is clean and cozy. Be reminded that public bathroom and washroom only. Dinner was well served with local fresh seafood, it is really a boost up for our cycling trip. Conveniently located near Tatara Ōhashi, recommend for your stay in Omishima. Overall: Subtle but clean and friendly

Reviewed By EtsukoB5新鮮な魚料理を大変美味しく頂きました。 魚の名前や料理法などをお尋ねしたり、島の歴史や海のことなどをお聞きしました。 潮の流れは長い時間見ていても飽きません。 航路なので船の音がしますが、それを煩く感じる事はなく風情のある旅を楽しむことができました。 こじんまりした旅館で掃除が行き届きとても清潔です。 湯船が小さく部屋に鍵はありませんので気になる方には不向きかも知れませんが、私たちは全く気にもなりませんので、返って日本の良さを感じる事になりました。 また訪れたい宿です。

平家の落武者集落の宿のようでした
Reviewed By 伸 久村人のお父さん、お母さん達による心のこもったおもてなしの数々、囲炉裏端での談笑など、本当に忘れられない旅になりました。 掲題について、なんと自分のご先祖様が14世紀以来の付近の城主で、1585年の小早川隆景による四国平定の折、下城しこの地に移り住んだことがわかりまたびっくり、とても感慨深いものがありました。ただ先祖は平家ではなく源氏方だったようですが、、 翌日、墓参りして帰りました。
