This restaurant overlooking the port of Varna has always been a fancy place - convenient location, beautiful views 24/24, parking available. Food was excellent - everything was fresh, tasty and nicely presented. Great choice of sea food, mainly from Greece. A decent wine list, although overpriced, but the latter is also valid for the food in Captain Cook. The service was good, but not impressive. All above is spoiled by smoking. Despite the fact that smoking is forbidden in restaurants in Bulgaria, clients here can smoke if they wish. And many of them do. If you want to show off or need to be seen, that's the place. But if you prefer visiting restaurants to enjoy food and wine, go somewhere else.Thank you for your words, your opinion is very important to us. The garden is really pleasant and great for intimate dinners. The food was really great, very tasty and definitely prepared with care. The waiter spoke good English, was very helpful and friendly. Very reasonably priced for what it offers. A very pleasant experience.

This restaurant is across from the Museum of archeology. You can walk through there all but alone looking at mind blowing things from a several thousand years ago and then walk across the street to swoon in perfect ambiance, incredible food and a wonderful wine list. The staff here is very knowledgeable and welcoming. We were alone here at 1:30pm. We settled on 3 different appetizers for lunch. A beef carpacio, appetizers for two and duck liver. All were perfectly prepared. The waitress suggested Bulgarian wine based on our preferences and it didn't disappoint. We gave in to desert since everything was so good. She suggested pumpkin with ice cream which made the perfect ending to this wonderful experience.
