Beautiful, clean and very welcoming!

Reviewed By Deliah B

We were surprised by how beautiful and welcoming this place was. The interior is impressive, the staff very friendly and it is situated right in the center of town. Especially the spacious balcony, the comfortable interior and the very considerate host would always make us want to stay here again.

Great Stay!

Reviewed By Calle K

We researched well on TripAdvisor and Google maps and ended up here and were all happy with it. Firstly we booked a simple room downstairs, but when arriving we figured out the upstairs rooms are far much nicer, double the price but more than double as nice, we changed room. It was just a couple of degrees outside so happy for the warm shower and equally well functioning heater/AC in the room. The bed was good and room spacious. It was unfortunately too cold to sit outside. Fridge was good for the beer and boiler equally good for the coffee. Location is good, easily walkable to roundabout by Colchis Fountain where also some restaurants and banks are. Also easily walkable to Kutaisi market, white bridge and the cable car to Besik Gabashvili Park. We had a rental car from the airport, and just parked on the main street by the Pharmacy. After passing by the famous roundabout, and on to Tsereteli Street, pass by a “shopping mall” on the left and then a pharmacy on the right, just thereafter is a very small sign with hotel names and you find “Paradise road” just down the lane/slope and you are there. The breakfast (paid) was served in the “wine cellar kind of” and was very plentiful, two adult portions was good enough for 4. Very hearty food and very filling. We don’t eat cheese so they adjusted it accordingly to us. Coffee was German style (as everywhere here) but we did bring Vietnamese, as German coffee is not to our liking. The milk and tea was great. WiFi was good but internet generally sucks…nothing to do with the hotel. We did forget one bag at the hotel and Sesili was extremely helpful in checking price, bin what was not valuable and sending it back to us in Hong Kong, thank you! Anyhow, if (I hope so) we come back to Kutaisi, we will surely stay here again. Yes, it is basic, but with the price and very helpful mom and daughter, we felt super welcome. We are two adults one 2 years old and one 5 years old. And BTW, it is a hotel not hostel.

Hotel Balcony

Stay there!

Reviewed By Péter M

Hotel Balcony is a really nice, and charming place, with kind staff, and correct rooms. It's just 600 meters from the city center, easy walk within 5-6 minutes. Most of rooms have a great balcony, with view to the cathedral. Hotel also have a pool and roof teracce. Pool is quite small, but there is, and can be enough for refreshing. Some details of the hotel is a bit run-down, but overall this place is a good choice if you stay some days in Kutaisi. Wifi OK, breakfast is more than you expect:)

Nana's Home

Comfortable and quiet room, close to downtown

Reviewed By Boschvertrekt

We only stayed one night to catch our flight the next day. The hotel is situated in one of the side alleys close to the fountain square. On walking distance of restaurants, market etc. Kutaisi is rather small. We were given a nice small room with a window viewing the street. Everything was clean, nice soft towels. The bathroom was very modern, with these portuguese style tiles and a good warm shower. We liked the room very much. The only disappointment is the breakfast. You have to pay it separate, it is not included in the price. Despite the fact that there is a fresh bakery just opposite the street they offer you prebaked tasteless bread that you can toast. A lot of sausages, and jam. The freshbrewed coffee from the machine was the only good thing about the breakfast. For the rest, just forget about it. The owners should offer a good quality breakfast with at least fresh breads. In my opinion. Resuming, yes I would stay here again, but I would skip the breakfast.

Guesthouse Zedafoni

GuestHouse Zedafoni was founded in 2003. The idea refers to traditional Georgian family hospitality. We want to create a home atmosphere there. We see our customers not only as guests but also a good friend of our family. If you have no sufficient amount for food and drinking, we can divide our them with you. If you spend the night at us, you ought not to expect luxury. We also have no pool or Wellnes. You get no Champaign or Whisky. What you have to expect, is a friendly family, a big house with two sitting rooms and patios, homemade organic wine and schnapps, fresh vegetables and fruits from our garden.

Super welcoming family <3

Great guest house surrounded by the wineyards. The family is very welcoming and kind! We had a suberb dinner, handmade by the mother, with traditional Georgian food and wines, settled in front of the fire. We really felt at home and super served. I really reccomend this property to anyone!

Temuri

Not what we expected.

Reviewed By Claudia S

We were a group of three friends staying one night in Kutaisi and picked Temuri because of the great reviews and the swimming pool. Boy were we disappointed. First off the swimming pool they listed was an empty kiddie pool in the garden. You know, the kind you buy at a supermarket! We got the impression they've listed this feature to get more guests. The room we stayed in was the family living room and the beds were camping beds and awful to sleep on - big "crater" in the middle and you could feel the metal bars and springs through the mattress. There are two bathrooms in the whole house that is shared between the family and up to 15ish guests. That means long waiting times. The hosts are ok, but nothing like the hospitality we've otherwise been met with in Georgia. The food the hostess cooked was nice, but the portions were tiny and not at all value for money - we had to go out and find a second dinner afterwards. The breakfast was home made kachapuri which was ok but again, only 1 slice (grudgingly 2) per person. It's also worth noting that nobody there speaks English, another guest helped translate for us.
