Memorable visit to SOU with a stay in Tent City1 (Dyke4)
Reviewed By rggadeWe (8 adults & 1 child) had a memorable 2N/3D trip to the Statue of Unity (SOU) during 24-26May’2022. We stayed in the Premium Cottages at Tent City1. -The ‘Campus’ was large and well maintained. The kids enjoyed Swimming & Cycling during leisure hours. -The ‘Rooms’ were spacious enough and quite good with all the basic amenities, the House Keeping was always prompt. -The ‘Restaurant’ had only Veg. menu, but with a choice of several options from a large buffet spread (Soup & Starter to Dessert), the Food was tasty and excellent. -The SiC arrangements, during the outdoor location Sightseeings, were quite comfortable, with a stock of water bottles. Our special thanks are due to: (1) Ms. Megha (Ahmedabad Office), who guided and helped us (with patience & zeal) during the booking formalities. (2) Mr. Feroze (Reception/Front Office-in-Charge at Tent City1) and his Staff (Ms. Gayatri & Ms. Harsha Wankhede & others), who took care of us on arrival & departure and were always there to help us. (3) Mr. Souvik Das (Restaurant-in-Charge) & his Staff, who made sure that we were served properly and sumptuously during all the meals (i.e. Lunch, Dinner & BF). (4) Mr. Vishal Patel (Guide) & his colleague Mr. Priyanshu, who were with us all the time during SiC travel, telling us about each location in brief. There was nothing to complain about. Everything was just perfect and impeccable. Even our last minute requests were promptly taken care of. They all couldn’t have been more thoughtful then and we can’t be less thankful now. Cheers!

Gir Pride Resort is spread over 30 acre area amidst mango orchard and lush green farms. The resort is located close to Sinh Sadan and Devalia Park Safari. We have in all 20 accomodation comprising of 10 luxury AC tents with private sitout, super deluxe rooms with private balconies and deluxe rooms with sit outs. The resort is safe, quiet, self sufficient, and properly managed.

Reviewed By devdigitalartdivyangOnly location is a bit ok No room service All you have to do is self service All rooms are very bad conditions Rats and Bugs also will join you if you book a Tent Too rude and proud behaviour of staff and honour as well No room service after providing your basic stuff at time of check in Everage food quality Pool water is full of chlorine and they also don't filter it regularly (at least 4-5 days) If you are late night lover you can't sit outside late because all lights and everything will be shut down and you can't put on lights At time of advance booking they show very good photographs but when you check in you get something else and worst After paying them what they ask for their own words are like this "We don't need customers, if customers need to stay they can come at our condition" After all it was a disastrous experience

The Bhalkeshwar Villa Resort is located about 5 Km from Somnath Temple . (Somnath - 5 KM, Sasan Gir - 35 KM, Diu Beach - 90 KM ) The Bhalkeshwar Villa Resort is a nice place to stay. The place is special because of its unpretentiousness and warm ambience. The smiles are real. Enjoy a relaxing holiday with family & friends at one of the best villa resort in Somnath.

Reviewed By MpatnaikBBSRNo room was allotted to me despite reservation before 3 months done. I faced a very odd situation with my family when reached at the property. Really pathetic situation. They told that they have NOT received the money , though I have booked the same & paid to the Cleartrip agency online. I was forced to cancel as there was NO room available.

The hotel enjoys the the proximity to the international Airport (11 km) & Railway Station ( 4 km).
Facilities not up to the expectations!
Reviewed By AnandSabaradWe had gone through a package tour and due to regular stay hotel was not available, this was the next choice. This is near to Airport and Railway Station, also just 500 mtrs from the Sabarmati River. The Bed and AC was comfortable. Some rooms are a bit congested, like in one bathroom, when the door is opened, right in front there is a toilet and to close the door it was task. For OLD AGED who cannot climb steps, please scratch this hotel from your search list. Rooms are located on 2nd floor and 3rd floor. There is access to 3rd floor by lift, but the hotel staff switch-off the lift to 3rd floor (old design lift, grill gate and a door). When asked, they say that the customers dont close the door correctly hence the lift wont work. Now the door is Hydraulic, why would a customer close the door manually. There is some problem in closing the door by itself, and the hotel staff should maintain the lift rather than putting the blame on the customers, stating the customers dont close the door correcting, Insane :-) :-) :-). Getting Hot Water in the Bathroom is a huge task. The boiler placed at the terrace is small and can cater to only few people who take bath early, (first com first serve). We got to know about the size of boiler from the Room Boys. The front office never told this and promised hot was would come, but for that we need to keep the water flowing from tap for 5 mins or so. (Water wastage and false promises) Room No. 212 does not lock. This is not a problem, but this means that the maintenance is not done proper. Some customers got hot water after the room boys brought hot water in Buckets!!! We stayed there for 4 nights 6 Dec, 11 Dec, 12 Dec & 13 Dec and on the last day we were give token of thank you, Sonpapadi packets to all 21 Families. The old Indian saying goes, Marketing and selling a product is easier than to maintain the product or give the same service as expected. The Quality Policy or the Statement "At Hotel Aaram, our focus is to provide you with Gold class Experience and build relations and strong bonds that last. This gives us the opportunity to know and serve you…even better. ..." IS NOT MET. At Hotel Aaram, we dint felt Aaram.

Kathiavadi food was super delicious along with breakfast items like aalo paratha and thepla which was cooked by Rajasthani family. The stay expenses including food Is quite reasonable than other near by properties.

‘The Best’ for Family and friends; also for nature lovers
Reviewed By JoshiudayanWe were four of us - two families. We visited Hiran holidays and stayed for a night on 15th Dec 21. Honestly we felt as if we have stayed longer than we stayed just because of the Hospitality of Shri Kanha bhai and his entire family which is etched in our minds. This resort is overlooked and taken care by Kanha bhai and, his brother - Shri Savdas bhai is managing the PR side of this resort - but does not stay here. This is not a typical resort - No swimming pools, etc. this is not a typical home stay nor a luxury resort. But very much or more than a Homestay and can be termed as “कृषि पर्यटन” stay. Kanha bhai has 8.5 acres of watered Agri field within which, his family stays and also manages the homestay resort. Just besides it and on a descending landscape is the Hiran river bed. Kanha hai showed us a 12 to 15 feet long crocodile. These are not human attackers since they get good amount of fish - feed within the waters. And the river bed being at lower landscape of down hills, nothing to worry about at all. The crocodile does not leave the river bed or banks. Lot of birds can be seen and Kanha bhai or his family members are having good knowledge of these birds and their habitat / their habits / understanding of whistling signal, etc. All the food that travellers eat, come from this field - purely organic. But travellers cannot / should not expect punjabi, Chinese, continental stuff. It is pure homemade Kathiyawadi food - very different in flavours and taste than we get to eat at any other eatery. A very very delicious engagement - गरमा गरम serving - the same food that Lakhnotra (Kanhabhai) family eats. The place is not on a highway but, it is 4 kms inside. Kanha hai arranges for guidance from the highway. Good and spacious rooms, ample parking space under the mango trees, hammocks under the trees, fire place can be enjoyed at nights, Mineral water bottle is available if needed. We enjoyed the Real Mineral water of Hiran river. Chaas, Dahi, Kadhi - awesome….. We wanted to cross the different jungle landscapes on our own, which are filled with Human habitats but, has forest department check posts and requires a authentication check. Both brothers provided continuous phone communication guidance all the way, till we were in the jungle and crossed it (we had very good sightings of नील गाय, etc ). Also, they guided us with the proper routes all the way along Vadodara, Junagad, and further. A MUST STAY.
