The owner/host/staff are marvelous - friendly and welcoming, As such, we decided to try their advertised "coffee and chocolate flan" after a nearby dinner elsewhere - it sounded like a unique and tasty creation. The presentation of the dessert was amazing - clearly the creation of a pastry chef - but the food itself was disappointing to eat. The flavor of the flan was OK (nothing special, but not 'bad'), however the texture of the dessert was decidedly un-flan like: thick and dense, not soft and almost crumbling to the touch, like some of the really excellent flans we have had in Latin America. A great idea, amazing presentation, and somewhat disappointing to eat.Dear ManishMM, Thank you very much for your visit and for your review. We really appreciate it. After reading it, we checked and realized that in this batch indeed, the flan was dense, and not creamy and soft as it has to be. We would like to apologize and hope to have the opportunity to make it up to you in a next visit. Best regards, 27 Adentro Team.

Rincón TÃpico was suggested to us by multiple people and we honestly wouldnât have found it otherwise. Antigua is filled with little nondescript doorways that open up into huge, beautiful spaces filled with everything from boutique cafeâs to jade museums to posh night clubs. But few offer up anything close to the experience at Rincón TÃpica. In short, it didnât disappoint. After you push past the women making fresh tortillas in the entry way, you get your first glimpse. Itâs rotisserie chicken, with a giant oven in the main dining room manned by two cooks wearing big gloves and 16 whole, heavily seasoned chickens being constantly rotated, swapped around and finally chopped down the middle and thrown onto a plate with boiled potatoes and salad. The place is counter service and unpretentious; the roof is made of sheet plastic with tiny birds flying around inside waiting to pick at the leftovers and occasionally pooping on and around the 70 or so diners inside. It was hectic but the service was flawless and efficient. We ordered at the counter, got our number and found an open table. About 10 minutes later a food runner delivered our drinks and confirmed our food order. 5 minutes after that, our plate of chicken and our chili rellenos, complete with mac salad ??? and some sort of broccoli dish arrived. We thought we were ordering a side of chili rellenos cuz we wanted to try something other than the chicken. But mac salad, broccoli and chili rellenos!? Needless to say it worked and holy cow was it amazing!! I mean, really amazing. High volume, polished, barebones service and the incredible food. Absolute must visit in Antigua!

Los Tres Tiempos, traditional Guatemalan food in a warm, luminous setting.
It starts with tortillas being made as you walk into the restaurant. Not the place to look for nachos and hamburgers..its high end Guatemalan food, much better than what most citizens eat. The service was excellent, professional and knowledgeable. The food was very good, no disappointment in any of the 4 entrees and appetizer we ordered. Flavors and food quality were very good. In fact, the food was better than a high end restaurant that made me sick the night before, despite 5 star service. It's right next to the artisan market ( with the most consistent, reasonable prices for merchandise IME) so bbn plan to shop there and follow up with a meal here. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend and return next time.Bonus was a talented singer playing acoustic guitar during dinner. All around a very pleasant evening.

I really liked this restaurant for its reasonable prices and delicious soups. Everything tasted really fresh and I was satisfied with having soup for supper as they are very hearty. Cilantro is a main component in many of the soups, so if you don't like cilantro be sure to check before you order as it's not indicated on the menu.

My husband and I came here for dinner. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. We got margaritas, grilled octopus, and chicken tacos. The food was good. Service also good. The only thing I didnât like is that they let outside vendors come in. There was a little boy selling candy table to table. The music was also shut off for a few minutes while a guy with a karaoke machine sang loudly in the front and then came around asking for money. Maybe this is common in other restaurants too, or they didnât have much of a choice, but either way it made the experience not as great. Hello, thank you for your kind review! I am very pleased you liked our food and margaritas. Indeed itâs difficult for us the vendors problem. I do think is a problem but sometimes even some clients call them and itâs embarrassing for us to send them out. With this review I definitely will put more attention to this problem. Thank you very much!Maggie

The restaurant is located on the road to Atitlán km 87 next to the Ruins of Iximche. It is quite nice, pretty wooden tables. It has a variety of dishes including international and Guatemalan dishes. We were a party of three people and we had Cheese Raclette, Chorizo, and Steak and green salads. They bring you a basket full of freshly made Tortillas ! Food good, service good, presentation of dishes very original, prices fair! Recommended!
