It seems my travels became a search for the best grilled eel. This was super good. There was eel on top in a traditional fashion, and some more hidden under the rice on the bottom of the bowl. Oh joy!

My family and I went here for an early dinner while on vacation, and we were in for a pleasant surprise at this restaurant. The line wasn't long at all (we waited around 15 min) and we ended up ordering two of the unagi rice boxes. It took a while for them to cook the dishes but the wait was worth it!

This restaurant is specialized for nice chickens grown in Japan and cooked with Japanese manners, especially as of around Nagoya.It is in the food court and offers chicken dishes.Oyako-don may be the most popular one, which is the combination of chicken and egg on the streamed rice in a bowl.Beside the restaurant, fried chicken Japanese style and chicken wings are sold and we can always see the line of the people who want to buy them.If you are the lover of Japanese foods, I'd like to recommend you to try this restaurant.

Another spot on the to do list in Okazaki on every visit. It is the best seafood (best eel, specifically) in my humble opinion. Off the beaten path, amazing cuisine. Can't wait until we go again!

Tried the ramen and it's good. But the miso Ice cream bun with azuki beans is dope! It's definitely a must try!!!! I had to eat it fast due to the miso tour starting soon. But I can't stop praising the miso ice cream bun.
