If you happen to visit Chiran Peace Museum for Kamikaze Pilots and find yourself hungry, this is one of the very few places where you can actually have a decent meal (and not just snack).This restaurant seemed quite big and offer two kinds of places - Western style and Japanese style.As for the rest of the restaurant, it was bit dusty, but clean.As for the food, it was pretty standard Japanese - nothing fancy, but also nothing bad. If you know Japanese standard, then you know what I am talking about.The menu is pretty self explanatory and if I remember well (we visited during 04/2016), if offers also pictures as well. You can go for a set (as you can see in the pics), or single meals. They offer beer and of course plenty of other beverages.But because of the dust, just 4 stars..

After ordering, we waited 45 minutes to get our food! All the other guests waited as much or longer. For a bowl of noodles, this is totally unjustifiable.When we eventually complained, we did not get a word of apology, just long speeches in Japanese (nobody spoke a single word of English).The food was just OK, really nothing exceptional. The meat was really bad.

We had a wonderful experience in this eatery. My family really enjoyed because it is very traditional and unique. The portion is huge and we nearly couldnât finish! The place may be a little difficult to find as the entrance is hidden behind trees.
