ここのカツは、お肉も衣も、とにかくボリュームがすごいです。また、大エビフライは、値段が高いので、ちょっと迷いますが、実際に目の前に現れると納得の大きさ！こんなに大きなエビフライは、見たことない！！という大きさです。しっかりお腹を空かせて行きましょう。

佇まいから老舗のようが、中に入ると囲炉裏の座敷があった。ここの店は実にいい。小生好みだ。他の客人が主にざる蕎麦を食べていたのに感化され、同じものを。喉越しのいい蕎麦粉が効いた味。雰囲気同様、これまた良い！是非また来たい店となった。

Leaving Hakuba, we had 3 hours in Itoigawa before traveling onwards to Kyoto by train. Wanted to try the famously fresh seafood in Itoigawa for lunch. This place is comfortable walking distance from JR station for the family ~ 25mins brisk pace. We were ushered into a private dining room and basically requested for chef to feed us with some sashimi and sushi. Beautifully presented, deliciously fresh and reasonably priced. Nice setting and courteous hosts - perfect experience. Thank you!

Taki is one of my favorite places in Itoigawa for lunch or dinner. Almost everything here is handmade. Even the individual ingredients are either handmade by the owner or locally sourced! Costs maybe an extra 100 yen or two for the lunch, but totally worth it.The dinner menu is much more extensive, so definitely visit during the evening and enjoy some excellent food with excellent Itoigawa sake!

リピーターです。長野県に住んでいますが旨い寿司が食いたいとなると日帰りでこちらのお店まで車を飛ばします。オススメは地物のネタが満載の「おまかせ寿司」3000円。白身を中心とした組み合わせで、この日は、カガミダイ、ヒラメ、カンパチ、イシダイ、カレイ、クロダイ、甘エビ、生ダコ、マトウダイ、〆さば でした。季節によって変わるので毎回このネタとは言い切れませんがいずれにしても白身は最高の品質です。ひとつエピソード。たまたま居合わせたお客さんがスウェーデン人でした。白馬にスキーの国際大会で来ていたというので有名な選手なのかもしれません。糸魚川は白馬から1時間程度です。トリップアドバイザーを見て、レンタカーを借りて山を下りて来たということでした。英語メニューなどないお店ですが、居合わせた日本人のお客さんが助けており、和やかな雰囲気がお店にありました。楽しい食事でした。

This restaurant is famous with TONKATSU in Japanese, which is similar to pork cutlet. TON means pork, and KATSU is a shortened term of cutlet.Please google “TONKATSU”, and you can find its wikipage.Please be careful. TONKATSU is different from TONKOTSU, which is a kind of ramen.Like the attached picture, this TONKATSU is big and filling!I love this TONKATSU.There is one more famous menu in this restaurant.That is Huge fried shrimp.When you come this restaurant ZENIGATA, please try that huge fried shrimp and Tonkatsu.
