A very authentic Italian. Family owned fir many years and as a consequence has great food and exceptional reputation. It’s therefore v popular! It seemed a bit disorganised some people arriving later getting served first; menus but no wine list TIL asked but all worked out in the end. Quite a few children early evening.

We went to Sweeneys of Kilbride last night for date night. We were too late for the Restaurant but the girl said she'd serve us in the bar. We order Bbq rack of ribs, bbq chicken wings and chilli beef nachos (starter portions). I had the ribs. Nicest ribs ive had in a long time. The Hickory sauce was beautiful. They were so big the wings were cold by the time i had finished. I sampled the nachos afterwards.they were ok. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Service great. Food great. The pints in Sweeneys were great afterwards also.Worth a visit.Thank you so much for taking the time to share your lovely review with us.I'm thrilled that enjoyed your meal with us.We strive to give the best service and the highest quality of produce that we can.Our baby back ribs are very popular....... Messy, but very popular :)Thanks so much for your feedback,Maria

Hesitated about going to Maximo’s Wasn’t really sure but made the right decision. Went in lovely greeting no loud music not a tv in sight menu looked ok waitress summarised the menu specials and got the wine list. Ordered the “prawns du chef” followed by a very good Italian burger and coffee. Wife had the early bird and we had a drink to start plus bottle of wine (32E) still under 100E. We will be back and disappointed we didn’t go before now. Perfect place for a nice meal quiet surroundings where you can talk and enjoy a glass of wine without the smell of food on your clothes. Dunshaughlin has for too long been monopolized by mainly two food outlets who have managed to bring us close to the bottom in terms of the offering with little regard for the value or customer satisfaction. With the growing population we need Massimo s and someone to take a Supermacs franchise. In the meantime folks Massimos is by far the best in town.

Adore this restaurant, love the choice of food & ambience is great. Unfortunately though, the supplement for the steak & sea bass is ridiculous when you're ordering from the set menu. It's the only fault with the place so I'd love to see that changed

Had dinner here a few weeks back. I expected a lot more from the pizzas but was disappointed as the toppings were all cut chunky, not thinly sliced and spread out. The place is nice and staff were great and I really should give a 3 but opted to give a 4 as I will go back and just try another dish next time.

We were a large party of 10 celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. Our table was well positioned not encroaching on others and Tomas our main waiter was very pleasant and efficient. We had an array of starters including, Crab Ravioli, Dough Balls Doppio and BBQ Ribs which were delicious. Moving to mains we enjoyed everything from Tuna, Lobster Thermidor, Carbonara with a bottle of Marquis Goulaine. We had just enough room for Pavalova and Tiramisu and coffees. The birthday cake flair was a very nice touch. It was a very enjoyable evening for all our family. We look forward to returning soon.Thank you for the lovely feedback, glad you had a nice evening.
