The restaurant has big park on the road. It's also a motel with room. Very close to Trieste. We ate roasted pork with potatoes and salads, water for 15⬠each. Not bad to have a rest during the journey.

I stopped for a pizza with my girlfriend on a friday evening. Restaurant is near the main road from Postojna to Rijeka (Croatian seaside) , so it is a great place for quick lunch on the way.Pizzas were good, staff is friendly and prices are OK.

ci siamo stati due volte con risultati diversi . la pasta è decisamente scotta ( sconsiglio di ordinarla se vi piace al dente ) condita con un sugo molto liquido . molto buona la zuppa di cipolla , quella di manzo era acida . fritto misto accettabile , calamari ripieni non altrettanto . grigliata mista ok , patatine fritte una volta buone , l'altra crude . simpatica l'idea di portare uno stuzzichino intanto che si attende di essere serviti e personale molto disponibile e cortese . il rapporto qualità -prezzo non è male , si spende davvero poco . in sostanza : senza pretese , è comodo per chi soggiorna in uno degli alloggi lì accanto , si mangia abbastanza bene .

I will tell you on short way.. if you are taking a trip to Croatia and you are driving by Morski KonjiÄek, you just have to stop there and try their simple but delicious food. Location of the restaurant is beside the main road to Croatian border so just stop there, take a break and try some of their very nice and well priced dishes!

The place is signalled somewhere on the road between Croatia (Split) and Italy (Trieste). I think the location is better than the average pork shop you can find a-plenty along the road, because, well, it's not on the front of the road, but some 1-ish km far from the traffic jams.We've been there during summer. They roast this pork basically all day long (not the same one, I guess they put a new one when finishing serving the previous one...), so you can eat at whatever time you get there (I've started eating my salad at 5:30pm). The service is very good, the guys are kind, the restroom is OK. We've tried the pork, a salad, and gnocchi with truffle, and all was excellent. We ate in four and just spent 232 kunas (32 euros), so I'd say it's reasonably cheap too.

A very interesting place, 2 km from main road Triest - Rijeka, just near border crossing. A restorant, actualy it is not a restorant, it is a tavern, agrituristic place where you can eat a lot of meal that is made from typically ingredients that grow there. The family owned a lots of ground so they coltivate vegetables by them self. They have chicken and other meet they buy in neighborhood. After have a food you can go to take a walk on the hill from where you can enjoy in a fantastic view. You can even see the sea.

Gostisce Masun is in a beautiful location, which you can access from the west with an asphalt road and from the East with an enjoyable gravel road in the forest. They serve fresh products, including game (and even bear!). We loved the prosciutto and the venison with morels, for a very reasonable price considering the quality. We would definitely go there again and recommend it to anyone.
