Herzlicher Empfang und schönes Ambiente, so beginnt ein genussvoller Abend.Als Vorspeise einen fein angemachten Salat und der Vorspeisenteller des Hauses, alles super lecker. Als Hauptgang hatten wir ein Rinderfilet, welches in puncto Fleischgeschmack und Ausführung perfekt war, sowie Lammkoteletts auf sardische Art, mit ganz viel Knoblauch. Alles in allem, wunderbar.Leider ging ein Nachtisch bei uns beiden nicht mehr rein.Das war bestimmt nicht unser letzter Besuch, Danke für den schönen Abend.

We were looking for a good restaurant, that could accommodate 12 people on rather short notice and that opens early.What we found was a nice small restaurant with a half separated 2nd room, where we all fit in.I had a serving of Tagliolini with seafood (cannot remember the name. It was NOT frutti di mare, but disks of calamari, clams, lots of small shrimps and one big one still in the shell). It was a nice meal and the others enjoyed theirs too.A special tread seems to be the deserts that are served. I didn't have any, but the others were quite happy with their tiramisu and some sort of ice cream.

Wir sind durch unser Gutscheinbuch zufällig dort gelandet und können auch nur Gutes berichten - sehr liebe Bedienung hat uns tolle Vorspeise empfohlen und immer aufmerksam geschaut ob wir noch etwas benötigen. Wir saÃen auf der Terrasse unterm Kirschbaum mit Blick auf den Kirschendeich- schön. Das Restaurant ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Hauptgang war trotz Gutscheinbuch eine ordentliche Portion uns sehr schön angerichtet- sehr lecker / Nachtisch ging leider nicht mehr rein aber wir kommen wieder - Danke für den schönen Abend.

I went here with a party of five and we enjoyed the reserved yet attentive hospitality, the quiet atmosphere and of course the beautiful and tasty food. The waiter friendly guides the guests through their selection of drinks and food.Around 10 tables occupy the room and there is room anough to walk between them withouth disturbing other guests. Suffice to say that conversations from nearby tables remain private. The food is of a rare quality. The cooking is obviously done with heart and soul, ie. not your regular professional restaurant type of preparation and this gives a very authentic, warming and delicious taste. The menu has a choice of meat, fish and pasta dishes.Servings are on ceramic colored plates or bowls. (I think the food at SAF deserves other i.e. less opresssive kitchenware as well as non paper napkins). I will not get into detail of our meals, go find out yourself, but just highlight the beautiful arancini arranged on a plate with freshly(!) grated parmesan. Succulent, not fat, echnically perfect. Although they rested too long after preparation and had cooled down too much. I suspect it was very busy in the kitchen. The wine list is adequate but nothing fancy. Italian wines are an art in itself and SAF made a fine selection offered for very reasonable prices. I can only heartily recommend the place.

Booked last minute on a Tuesday for 18:00. Arrived to find the place full with regulars and a few larger groups who had booked as well. Service was good with a hint of some attitude from the employees which appears to stem from the owner. Served quickly. Food was fresh and presentation is good. All tasted very good with good sized portions. Would definitely recommend for pizza and pasta.

Heute waren wir zum dritten Mal in La Vita. Das erste Mal in Juni, zu vierte, war perfekt. Mit einer Gruppe in Juli: Bedienung freundlich, Fischplatte dafür kaum essbar. Heute erneut mit einer Gruppe: Essen hervorragend, Wartezeit aber fast anderthalbstunde. Geht gar nicht. Danach wollte man uns noch einen Milchkaffee, der bestellt war aber nie angekommen ist, zahlen lassen. Und das Pizzabrot, das niemand anders bezahlt hatte, hätte man uns locker als Entschuldigung für das Warten schenken können. Aber nee, auch das war scheinbar noch zu viel erwarten.

This is one of those "sport" club restaurants typical for Germany, usually found next to the football pitch/sports facilities and used by the teams as a clubhouse but also open to the public. This one serves excellent pizzas - including deep fried calzone - but also pasta dishes as well as more upmarket Italian main courses (fish and meat). On Wednesday evenings, the first ten pizzas on the menu are offered for 4 euros each but value for money is outstanding even at the normal prices.

Nice place for a drink and a snack while watching the boats on the Rhein. The restaurant area is self serve with tables looking out toward the water. The curry wurst was good.

A friend of mine arrived later than expected, but we were still served very well although it was after 10 pm and the staff wanted to go home.The food was good as ever - huge tasty Pizza called 'small', not to mention the wine. Thank You
