Very good Italian food and a very friendly atmosphere ;-)) During cold and wet as also in the hot and sunny season you will find a proper restaurant or a nice garden. Service is perfect ! And as a add on the owner and his son will play some nice Italian songs life ! Really cool !

I was very satisfied with the food: everything was very good and was not what you can eat at home or buy at the supermarket. Fantasy and skills are the immaterial ingredients that transform the selected raw material into an unforgettable experience. The man who served us was very kind. On the other hand, also the price was unforgettable and maybe wine was a little bit overpriced.

This restaurant is absolutely great, the service, the food, the people. No need to spend more words on it. Except, that is it also great for vegetarians. Loads of options :)

Greek - Spanish - Mediterranean Cuisine, Cuisine Open 11:30-14:00 , 17:30-22:00 H
This a nice mixed cuisine restaurant in a quiet part of town. It has a medium sized interior with few outside tables. The food includes Asian, Greek, Italian and German so much choice of cuisine though menu is small. We had a Greek salad which was good with large feta chunks. The white fish of the day was nicely grilled. The turkey fillets was a large dish with lots of salads and easy too share.A good comfort place. Enjoyed it. Attentive service too.

Portuguese Restaurant Casa do Jose
An old friend an me love to come here for dinner, when I go to Europe. This place provides really authentic and excellent food Portugiese style, more exactly many dishes are similar to Madeira. We this time enjoyed some Bacalhau and grilled beef...Drinks and wine from Portugal we had as well.Service is also very friendly.Only point: Often we have to make reservation earlier, otherwise we might face problems to get a seat...

I invited a relative (who has lived in Karlsruhe about 40 years) to eat here. He had no idea what tapas were but was willing to try. Now he keeps talking about bringing his wife here ;-)The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice (although it can get loud if a large group is sitting right next to you) and service is extremely attentive and helpful. The food is very yummy with effort put into achieving that typical Spanish taste explosion (it doesn't beat actually eating in Spain, but full marks for trying). When it came to paying the bill, I was pleasantly surprised. Very good food & drink for a very decent price.I can't wait to be back in Karlsruhe to come here again ;-)

I go here regularly with my girlfriend and her family; they have been regulars for years. I have never had a bad meal and the appetizers are wunderbar! The staff is professional and the owner is always on hand with a warm greeting.

We visited the restaurant 3 times now (as my mom lives in the Region), once we were inside, twice on the nice terrace with view to the lake (behind a few trees). The fish is mainly sweet water but some salt water as well. The aperitiv was the common beer and as a starter we had a good salad, nothing fancy but a fresh salad with a good sauce. The main dishes came before we finished salad and beer which was a little disturbing. The mixed Antipasti which my mom had as a main is a big plate of different fish including a shrimp salad, smoked salmon, a fish pate, mussel,.... My wife had turbot with potato gratin and boletus and I garlic spaghetti with a big piece of monkfish and 2 big shrimps.Away from the coast I do not eat a lot of fish (I might be a bit picky here) but here you can definitely do it.They have a selection of drinkable german wines and the waitress is able to give recommendations. We both had a desert which was huge and good but nothing self made. The Prices are ok as well.
