Reviewed By Michelle FWhat a difference from our experience at the Marriott in Salmon Arm. From the moment we walked in until our check out we felt welcomed. Wonderfully friendly staff, covid aware staff, clean rooms and a very well laid out breakfast. They even had non dairy milks and thibg like toast and fruit for non fairy eaters and plant based eaters. The coffee tasted really good and fresh. Love that it's pet friendly (love seeing all the pups out for their morning walks). Great location as you are close to a variety of stores and places to grab a bite. The side that faces the golf course is not only beautiful but quiet too. The only negative we found which wasn't that bad was we could hear someone playing what sounded like a radio with music late in the night. Not sure where it came from but again not a deal breaker. Nice gym but personally I would have liked a bike but again not a deal breaker. The most important factors were that it was clean and friendly and they definitely met those requirements. We are already planning our next trip to kelowna and this hotel!

Wonderful B&B
Reviewed By Prairie_NomadsThis place is a hidden gem. I stayed for six nights and was pleasantly surprised. Suzanne and Paul are charming hosts and the accomodations are immaculate. There is a beautiful deck at the rear of the property that overlooks a gorgeous garden. A great place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine and watch the quail parade down. You won't have to worry about noisy guests ever and breakfasts are delicious with many homemade jams. There are many great dining options within a 10 minute drive. I have stayed at many hotels in the Kelowna and West Kelowna area and this is a real treat. Highly recommended!

The view from the window and deck. The excellent wifi. The healthy breakfast. The photos on the website don't do the place justice. The room is larger and the view better.

Reviewed By julchen999We stayed one night at this lovely B&B. The view from the deck is amazing and it's located very close to a handful of great wineries. The place is sparkling clean, breakfast was huge and delicious and the host is just lovely. Our dog was welcome in the whole house and spoiled with treats. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kelowna.

From a warm welcome, to a fantastic room with views of the lake and hills, special snacks, huge charcuterie (as I call it) breakfasts, this B&B gets 5 STARS! The design and decor is magazine worthy! Reviewed By RedStilettosThis resort is beautifully situated right on the lakefront. Very peaceful at night, too. We reserved a lakefront view and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed our breakfast out on our balcony and a glass of wine in the evenings. The furnishings and carpeting were a bit worn looking and could be updated or replaced. We did not cook our meals as we had planned visits to various wineries and this was a vacation away from cooking for me :). However, the appliances were clean, but again, they could be updated. The kitchen was well-appointed with dishes, cutlery, glassware and chef's tools. The master ensuite was very spacious as was the bedroom. The toilet should be replaced as it is so low it is difficult to get back up, and the wooden seat was chipped in some places. The horizontal blinds on the French doors in the master bedroom did not operate very well and should be replaced. The mattress was not as firm as we would have liked. Despite these small niggly things we would happily come back. Thank you for making our visit so pleasant! Checking in and checking out were a breeze and the front desk staff are so friendly and helpful.

Reviewed By Mom_of_threeCHNCMy husband and I traveled to Kelowna for a wedding in September and chose Chateau du Lac initially as it was convenient to the wedding venue. While it was that, it was so much more! We immensely enjoyed our time at the B&B. Our private room and bath were exceptionally comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Our breakfasts were delicious, and Keyla was a gracious host. A previous reviewer mentioned the animals. We did know about them ahead of time - they were discussed in the welcome letter - and we never found them a problem. They were quiet, and confined to a small space on the lower level away from our rooms and from the kitchen. My only regret was that we could not take advantage of the pool and hot tub! If we are fortunate enough to go back to Kelowna someday, I would definitely hope to stay here again in order to enjoy the view, the comfortable surroundings, the delicious food, and Keyla's hospitality.
