A budget hotel in the middle of Tsukiji Market

Reviewed By arieflaksono

A budget hotel in the middle of Tsukiji Market. While the location was busy during daylight because of fish market activities, it’s too quiet at night with almost no life around. The hotel itself was good. Enough spaces in the room. Breakfast voucher in nearby diners. Walking distance to at least 3 subway stations and Ginza only 10-15 minutes away. Very recommended.

Great hotel in a great location in Tokyo

Reviewed By Robert V

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in Rm 522 in late march of 2020. I stayed here as part of a tour group going around Japan. The hotel is in a great location. It is only about 500 meters or so from the Ginza shopping street. There are plenty of restaurants and stores around as well. There is a 7-Eleven very close that is above a convenience store but just below a mini market. You can find lots of prepared foods there such as sandwiches, pizzas, etc.. there. There is also an ATM in the 7-Eleven that will accept foreign ATM cards since not all bank ATMs in Japan accept foreign cards. If you go out the back of the hotel and turn left and keep going in that direction you will hit a wide river which has a nice walk along it. I saw men fishing from the side. You will pass I think it was called St. Lukes hospital(thats right is has an English name). The hotel is located off the streets but taxis can get to it but not buses. There are two alleys that angle out the front of the hotel to a street. This is the direction you want to go for nearby restaurants and the 7-Eleven. The hotel has a good size lobby that is spacious in Japanese terms. You can tell this is above a 3 star hotel by just seeing it. That is my opinion. The hotel has a restaurant on the 2nd floor. I had all my breakfasts there. They will give you a choice of Western or Japanese breakfast. The breakfast was good though their eggs are cooked a way I am not used to. The rest was goodl, especially the croissant. I am not certain if they serve other meals but I would not be surprised if they did. Upon entering my room my bathroom is on the right. It has a sliding door that closes off the bathroom. Inside the bathroom the shower is on the right. Entering the shower you come immediatley to the shower portion with has a choice of a hand shower head or the shower head in the ceiling. Next to the shower and only accessible via the shower is the Japanese style bath tub(sort of like a half American bath tub with higher walls). In the shower you have access to large bottles of bath gel, shampoo, and conditioner. The bath towels are right above the bathtub after I looked around. The shower and bathtub are enclosed in see-thru plexiglass. Same as the shower door. Going past the bathroom you come to the bedroom with the queen size bed on your right. On the left side of the side(furtherest from the bathroom) there is room to easily move around. The right side if I recall is virtually against the well. I did not see any electrical outlets next to the bed but there are light switches for the room. Opposite from the foot of the bed is a counter with the LCD TV on top of it. In the corner near the window is a typical hotel desk. There is a row of Type A(two prong) American type plug in(standard in Japan). I would say you could plug in at least 3 in the row if you wanted. The TV had only Japanese stations on it except CNN but it was being dubbed in Japanese. There were options on the TV to watch movies, etc. on it as well I forgot to mention there is a small refrig under the counter where the TV is located. It is empty and you can put some things in it. Overall, this was a very nice hotel to stay at in a great location where you can walk around. I would certainly stay here again.

Good location, well priced and good buffet breakfast

Good location close to Tsukiji market close to underground metro and also walking distance to Ginza main shopping strip. Breakfast in the hotel is good .. different variety continental and Japanese breakfast all for one price. Better value if you get it free with the room whilst booking online.

Strategic, Simple Hotel

Reviewed By ramaiki

A strategic, easy to reach hotel with a direct access to metro line (just across the street). Great place to stay, especially for the traveler who don't need much from the hotel room 'cause spends much of their time out sight seeing. And the best part of it, it's just a walking distance to Tsukiji Market, a heaven for culinary hunters (fresh sushi and other seafood, mochi, and other great bite size snacks)

Beautiful hotel

Reviewed By purrrrrrr

Small but cosy hotel in the heart of Tokyo. Stayed in two different rooms (one without a tub and their biggest room with a tub) and loved both of them. I could connect my Netflix account to their TV which was a plus! Short walking distance to two different subway stations, and there’s a Daiso opposite the hotel. Hope I can return to Tsuki next year!

One night stay

Reviewed By ALSJAMS

Actually stayed in August 2016. Took the Shinkansen from Osaka and stopped here for a night stay, to check out the Tsukiji Market. Super small but decent hotel. Super small bathroom too, but it’s very practical given we were just there for a few hours. I think we checked in around past 10pm and had to wake up around 2ish am and started walking to the market for an early queue. I think we got back around 6-7am and checked out around 1.. so we basically had appx 6 hours in total of experiencing this small hotel, and I must say tho it was short. I slept really well. Could be the comfortable bed. Thumbs up. I think this sorta hotel is good for budget travellers!

The room is nice. It said good for two but its definitely small for two. But a good place to stay for a short period kf time and price is decent enough. We were also amazed with the robot receptionist and its easy to request a human receptionist should you need to request one.

Room smelt strongly of cigarettes and very dirty especially carpet and walls & bedding ... good location though

Reviewed By TravelWithSophie

Hotel check In is 3pm , no movement on the time as they won’t have the room ready on time beforehand. Even if you ask nicely. Hotel has a small reception area and not much room . so you will find yourself waiting with other guests in busy periods at check in time. Our room smelt like cigarette, even though on the hotel listing says smoking permitted. I didn’t understand this ... as most hotels say smoking room or non smoking room. The walls had coffee splashed on them which was bizarre and I’m not sure why the cleaner did not spot this . Also the carpet is very dirty and also the dark brown color hides the hair on the carpet . I was scared to put my feet on the floor before going to bed , made me cringe. The duvet cover is a dark blue and is not like a usual hotel bed cover. It was full of white marks and also dusty. I don’t know how these issues can be overlooked by the staff. Bathroom is very small and you can barely comfortably use the bath or the sink area without banging your arm or body on something. Television has nothing English, only Japanese channels. Wardrobe is very small for only one night usage. Good thing is that they give you complimentary skin care kits on arrival which is a nice touch . I had not many options during golden week in Japan. So had to book this . Don’t think I would stay here again. He location is the only good thing about this hotel. They are lacking basic cleanliness and should at least spot dirt in the rooms before handing to guests. But the amenities is good and also the location.
