Reviewed By Bryan MWe spent a night here as we were in the area and decided to stay a bit longer, yet didn't want to spend time in the city. Staff was very friendly and professional. Room was clean and the wing we stayed in has been modernized so that means new bathroom and furniture. Oddly they installed a green shag type carpet which seems like it would get dirty easily. Everything was clean and seemed that there was not so many other guests. We did make use of the Sauna, at the time there was only one open and with 4 guests it was a bit crowded in there area since everyone was trying to distance due to Covid. If you can get the area alone is super nice and relaxing. Breakfast was done well and had a nice selection for the size of hotel and number of guests which were around. Easily can have a nice breakfast there, with a nice selection of tea. We enjoyed the stay and the area and hotel was super quiet. There is no minibar but they did offer a self-service honour bar with drinks and snacks after 10pm, so you just help yourself and write down what was taken. Nice touch.

Reviewed By LizzyBennett12The Pfeffermühle is a decent hotel on the outskirts of Siegen and probably best for business travelers and folks in need of a quick overnight stay. Overall, the complex is a bit charmless, while our room felt dated (I believe there are newly renovated rooms available) and very simple. However, both bedroom and bath were spotlessly clean and the bed comfy. The staff, at reception as well as the restaurant, was extremely welcoming and friendly.

Very nice and cozy place to stay during your business trip
Reviewed By fernandoy928The room and bathroom were very clean. The bed is comfortable and most important the windows are sound proof it really creates a silent place to sleep after a hard day. The staff is friendly and speaks english that helps a lot. The breakfast is adequate for the size of the hotel and purpose.

Good for a business stay
Reviewed By AdamBilgy800m from Railway station, which has direct links to Frankfurt. 200m from a large supermarket or there is a small shop opposite. 5 mins max walk to the main shops. Very friendly check in staff, and the room was clean and well maintained. They only clean your room every 3 days, unless you specifically ask. Large safe in the room, and good heating/aircon. The breakfast cold buffet was OK, with take away bags to go. Great tea selection and food quality coffee. Dinner was very limited and very poor quality but cheap, or there are restaurants nearby. Will definitely stay again when on business.

Reviewed By PekardI stayed in this hotel 2 nights for a business trip. The hotel is lean, they have not spent a single Euro more than absolutely needed. So what? The quality of sleep I got, I have not met in fancy 5-star hotels. Breakfast is what you need to eat, to start the day fresh and with energy. The staff is so friendly and professional. Overall, I loved it. Very relaxing. Only bad, you need car to go anywhere.

Dissapointing
Reviewed By Simon SA really dissapointing experience. You will expect much more of a 4 star rated hotel. Arrived hungry to Hotel but Restaurant temporary closed. Absolutely no restaurantes in walking distance worth anything. Domino pizza and a local pizza (Topolino ) place with 2 table and a small fridge with 4 bittle of soft drinke and luke warm beers. Of course only cash so we had to walk another round to find an atm that actually accepts visa. ( Dominos only took local debit card !! ) Parking booths are narrow and difficult to access. Rooms are big ( business room ) and large bathroom but seems all rather old. Small tv, weak wifi but beds ok although very soft. Breakfast acceptable but nothing more. Never going there again for sure..

Good beer, late check in no problem, good breakfast, wery fresh, hot bread, omelets, ham, cheese, good cafe. Fair price, for nice room, invoice, payment with card. Better and bigger parking will be superb.

Average hotel for a high price
Reviewed By Igor KThis hotel is situated on a very good location in a city of Siegen. What is nice here is hospitality of staff, and great and tasty food. What I think is overpriced, is condition of rooms, bathrooms, and smoking area. One complete floor is smoking area and if you are not lucky, and get a room on that floor, you will feel like you slept in a smoking bar. Terrible. Breakfast really ok. Redecoration of all rooms is really welcome.

Dies liegt vielleicht an der neben dem Lokal liegenden Metzgerei Hennche. Es empfiehlt sich gerade für das Wochenende früh genug zu reservieren. Die Bewertung gilt nur für das Restaurant, zum angeschlossen Hotel kann ich keine Angaben machen.
