Super family run quaint hotel
Reviewed By foxyfoxholesWe stayed with two friends for a ski weekend. The Belvedere is a quaint old style hotel, typical of many in Austria. The owner is very accommodating, and friendly. You get a sense that if you needed anything he'd provide it. One nice touch for us, on arrival at the railway station we called the hotel for directions as there wasn't any taxi's. The owner very obligingly came down to collect us. The room was perfectly fine, the bathroom a little tired. The breakfast and dinner very nice and traditional. Overall a very nice hotel, perfectly situated for the ski slopes

far too expensive - expected so much more for this price
Reviewed By tappers1279stayed in 2 different rooms - both i would suggest are 20 to 40 euros too expensive based on many other places stayed in Austria. for both rooms the bathrooms are very small and with no hand wash or shower gel - the suites bathroom is private and separate down a corridor right next to another room - there is no lock and so not so private for a room costing €150+ !!! alos in this room there were holes in the sheets, some of which were stitched up !! balconies off both rooms were very bland in a town whre flowers on balconies are a given. there is never anyone on reception, no bed side light in the small bedroom - called a single but okay as a double. i could go on ..... i juts think that when you are paying over 120 euros for a room in a bed and breakfast then it should be a more special - both rooms here were certainly not. more fool us for paying so much !!!

Bad hotel
Reviewed By destrovAlmost no wifi you can’t watch YouTube. The owner will shout at you if you exit your room past 20:00. The coffe machine does not work. The owner is not speaking english and he is shouting at you in German language. The staff entered our room while we were falling asleep. The heating platform does not work. The toilet stinks because its blocked. I found my pillow on the ground. There is literally one soap. Usual noise in the middle of the night. So do not go here if you want a good hotel.

Reviewed By TaintedPowersPeople are really friendly. Room was nice and clean. The restaurant had a wide selection of all sorts of goodies. Definitely a place to come and relax or go hiking. They even have two bikes which you can take for free if you feel like taking the bike trail. :)

Familie Kohl / Kroiss sind herzliche Gastgeber mit tollen, kuschelig-warmen Zimmern und sensationellem direkten Ausblick auf die Skipiste des Zauberberg Semmering. Nachts ist die Piste beleuchtet, was dem ganzen noch mehr Flair verleiht. Die erste Ski-Piste ist 100 Meter Fußweg entfernt, die große Gondelstation ist gemütlich in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen (oder man nimmt das Auto und fährt 1 Minute). Das Frühstück beinhaltet frischen Café, Obst, Müsli, Eier, Wurst, Käse, Gemüse, Gebäck, Honig, Marmelade, Säfte und war mehr als ausreichend! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sensationell und wir waren mehr als überrascht, wie groß das Zimmer für unseren Aufenthalt war. Die Badezimmer sind kompakt, dafür gibt es aber im Zimmer viel Platz um es sich am Tisch mit toller Aussicht gemütlich zu machen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder - vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!

Good value for money, perfect location for skiing and trekking
Reviewed By Håkon HA relatively modern styled hotel very close the ski facilities. Small rooms, but clean and cosy. However, impossible to turn off the central heating and it was very hot during the night. Breakfast ok, and the restaurant offers many different dishes with good wine and beers.

Reviewed By Abooki1403Wir sind für ein Wochenende dort zu Gast gewesen und sind leider sehr enttäuscht worden. Die Zimmer sind sehr altmodisch, die Betten durchgelegen und unbequem, in unserer Dusche fehlte die Tür, sodass alles nass wurde. Es war zwar an sich sauber, aber doch recht staubig, vor allem auf den Nachttischen und Fensterbrettern. Für den Preis überhaupt nicht empfehlenswert. Allerdings ist das Frühstück gut und reichlich, startet aber erst um 8:00. Wenn man zeitig auf der Piste sein will, ist das sehr knapp.
