I highly recommend the Grant Hall Hotel

Reviewed By JWestre

I loved the cozy, quiet, well appointed room which was very tastefully decorated. Dinner in the steakhouse was delicious, and the service was very good. All in all it was the nicest hotel I’ve been in in a very long time and a good experience start to finish.

Super convenient location, right off the transcanada. Very new and modern facilities. Our room even smelled like a brand new house. Best price on a hotel that we stayed in on our trip across Canada and one of the best quality as well. Appreciated having laundry facilities as well.

Registration was fairly quick and simple and cashier #10 was awesome! Couldn’t turn off heat/air register. Also , a bigger refrigerator. Would’ve preferred a room with one bed and a table at a lesser rate as rates are too high.

Good price. Responsive and helpful staff that seem to be always around. A decently priced restaurant is just nearby. And if you're looking to go to Buffalo Pound Park. The location is slightly closer than if you drive from Moose Jaw downtown.

Comfortable Hotel

I like the location - just off #1 highway and near the N-S road to get downtown. Very clean, comfortable rooms, good hot breakfast with lots of seating, and very friendly staff. One of the few hotels on our western trip that had a self-serve laundry area. If it had a pool, I would rate it excellent.

rooms we old, cheaply done. I am a business traveler, and they charge a security deposit. Anything that got broke would be a favor to the next customer that they wouldn't have to deal with the worn out dated 1960's looking basement crap of furniture. Won't be staying here again

Do Not stay here

Reviewed By allabouttheride

Dirty room, terrible breakfast, AC not worth having, my wife sat on the corner of the bed and the mattress flipped up and she ended up on the floor. Our bleakest consisted of 2 dried up mandarin oranges a 3 day old muffin , cereal bar and a kids juice box.Not worth the money. The next day we paid less in another hotel and the breakfast was an actual breakfast.

Skip it! - Much better properties out there.

We booked this property with low expectations and unfortunately, it was worse than what we expected. Overall, I would not recommend staying here. The place was dirty and run down (even though we stayed in the newer building). Clearly the management does not care about cleaning as everywhere you looked, there was dirt and cobwebs and things were definitely unkept. The bathrooms in the pool area were deplorable and stunk of urine and feces. The urinal in the men's bathroom had a thick layer of black and brown sludge in it and the smell almost choked you. It would be the perfect venue for a horror film!! Lastly, although it says that breakfast is included, when we enquired in the morning the response was "it's COVID time, so it is unclean and we are unable to provide breakfast" even though we stayed at 5 other properties during this trip and every other hotel provided a nice bagged breakfast, so clearly they were using the pandemic to be CHEAP AND LAZY. Do not support this business as clearly they should not be running a hotel.
