Reviewed By singlegirlancashireSpent 4 nights at this immaculate friendly hotel and enjoyed every minute. We were greeted with a smile from the lovely receptionist. The room was spacious,clean,had huge bed,also a kettle in the room and air con conditioning lovely bathroom with lots of hot water The only down side was the bathroom flooded when having a shower.we had a nice view of the lake from the balcony. After the 1st night stay,I needed a clean sheet,but the maid left the stained sheet on the bed which wasn't very nice. We ate in the restaurant every night,the food was always perfectly cooked,all staff were helpful and friendly.The restaurant was immaculately clean, it would be nice to be served by staff in uniform in the evenings.Plenty of choice for breakfast, it wasn't a buffet but food was cooked fresh,and was cooked to perfection.we would definitely stay here again and eat at the restaurant.

Reviewed By puerrttoGreat luxury hotel with pool and spa. Perhaps the only real 4-star hotel in the northern part of Bulgaria. Pool, spa, gym, great breakfasts (included) and surprisingly affordable dinners. Add to this the exceptionally low price of € 20 for a double room in October, it is a fantastic option for relaxation and as a base for exploring the region.

Reviewed By ShanaT88We had lunch there. A peaceful place, cool in the hot summer days. The waitress was very polite, made some recommendations on the menu. They also have a seasonal menu during the hunting period for meat eaters. The food was delicious as well, we ate too much and had to take a part of the foor home. :D Definitely a great place to eat!

Green Hill Boutique Hotel is a true gem in the heart of the charming town of Berkovitsa. It enjoys a quite location up in the mountain, just 87 km away from Sofia. The main building was totally reconstructed in 2013 and opened in April 2016 to welcome its guests in a wonderful 3-storey house with spacious and sunny rooms. The property has also a restaurant and a beautiful garden.

The interior is contemporary in "vintage" style. It has a private reception and lobby bar. For guests' needs has a well equipped kitchen and dining / meeting room. Reviewed By ShanaT88The guest house is located at the top of Varshets in a very peaceful area. The owner is a very nice guy. We were lucky to have the house for ourselves. There are 5 rooms for a maximum of 19 people, which would make the place packed, though. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a working coffee machine. We couldn't connect to the wifi, but that was okay, we had reception and mobile i-net. The house itself is about 10-15min away from the centre by foot. The house has 2 floors and there are an air conditioner and a TV in each room. It is very clean and nice. There are parking spaces in the yard.

Simple hotel with great staff
Reviewed By bookwifeyThis hotel is in a tiny village but it is handy for going to Belogradchik, has a restaurant and the rooms are very clean and nice, particularly for the price. The restaurant offers all the usual fare, for really amazing prices. However, what makes the hotel special is the staff, so friendly, even though there were some minor communication problems, because their English is not that good. Can only recommend this place to anyone in the area.

We expected nice home-made food and got disappointed

Because it was cold and rainy, we had to sit inside and ended-up smelling as if we were cooking all night (the space is quite small and badly ventilated) The waitress was obviously being trained and did not seem to be very interested. What is worse - the food was greasy and salty. What a pity that in this wonderful place of Vurshets we did not manage to find a decent place to eat outside the hotel!
