We are a family that chose the life of the field, which we enjoyed every day and share ecological and responsible way with nature. We turn our house into a hostel in which we serve our guests as if they were lifelong friends. We have cozy rooms in the middle range roots, in a privileged place surrounded by ancient forests, just 7 kms. Ski center Corralco in the Lonquimay volcano, and 5 km. Termas de Malalcahuello, during the world biosphere reserve. A place that invites adventure, family reunion and enjoyment of nature. We invite you to experience Casaverde, our mountain house with all amenities and the best southern hospitality. Total availability 11 to 12 people.

Reviewed By lisa_ajazAbsolutely live this region, but this hostel is amazing. Juan Carlos and Catalina are so kind and amazing hosts. The house is just perfect and makes you feel as if you are in the regions of Tuscany. If it’s a very hot, which is rare, the house will be hot including the rooms upstairs. However, the night’s are very cool and the rooms upstairs will cool off with open windows. The food is all homemade and is all natural and fresh. I would put this on my list to return

Reviewed By Fearless635578The cabin was fantastic, really warm in winter, beds very comfortable, everything super clean. Lavinia and Fernando were very kind and excellent hosts. We could taste the delicious goat cheese and icecreams that they produce! Will galdly return to Chilewild!!

A cozy and comforting retreat
Reviewed By freddyfly8I spent 2 and a half weeks touring around the Chilean ski areas, and this is hands down my favorite place I stayed. The hosts, Felipe and Claudia were very welcoming and amazing for the entirety of my stay (Plus their daughter is adorable). The food was delicious and the room was very comfortable. It was close to the ski resort and to town but tucked away in the beauty of the landscape. If you come to Malalcahuello, this is where you need to stay.

Reviewed By Carlos RGreat service, facilities and food - very expensive though (still not sure if it's worth the money). Snow quality was great but mountain infrastructure is lacking (ie. only two chair lifts, which run very slow, and the rest are t-bars). Just expect to be relatively incommunicado while you are there: only entel has a cell phone tower with no data (no service if you have movistar), and wi-fi is extremely slow and not suitable for working. If you don't care about internet or slow chairlifts, and you are not very price sensitive, this place is amazing! With regards to the wi-fi service: I had read people's complains about the wi-fi service so I asked the hotel reservation agent over email since I needed to work while I was there. I was told they had just installed new routers and guests would have a minimum of 3mbps. That was NOT the case when I arrived. I guess the agent was very eager to take my money at that time...If you need to work remotely (ie. emails, calls, review documents), you'll be quite stressed out. When you are paying US$400 per night (during Fiestas Patrias break), you would expect the resort to offer better wi-fi service.

We have 5 cabins and 1 touristic apart inserted in a native forest next to the Cautin River and next to Lonquimay volcano (one the main sky center in Chile). During winter season we offer full skiing equipment 30% off for visitors. During the summer season we are next to Conguillio National Park, one of the most beautiful parks in Chile. We have Q Certification.

Reviewed By Jess GWe returned to Ruca Pehuen hoping they would be still well kept as 3 years ago. They haven't changed and it's great to be here. Very cosy, several cabañas, but enough distance to have privacy. Close to a mini-beach by the river (though we miss the old deck chair that used to be there!), lots of birds to see, great places to go near by. Love this place!

Reviewed By Miriam PThis place was so nicely decorated and felt so cozy. The sheets and bedding were nice and the beds were pretty good. There are nice couches downstairs to eat breakfast and in the hallways between the rooms. The owners are incredibly nice and helpful. We got a lot of tips from them of local spots. The breakfast was plentiful and really good. Great spot.

Cosy and classy, with ninety square meters including terrace, each chalet has a wide and independent outside space, respecting privacy. With heat-insulating windows and open kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms with towels included, a dining and living room, with a unique decor & atmosphere. Mother Nature is close to the Carralco ski resort, three natural reserves & hot thermal springs.

These stylish and cozy cabins have everything you need to relax - a wonderful wood fire, cooking facilities and a very comfortable bed. If you’re looking to disconnect and relax this is a great place to do so. The hosts Julia and Alex are lovely people that give wonderful suggestions for the area and are very helpful. We loved our stay and would highly recommend Madre Natura!
