Reviewed By kerryj1984I stayed at this hotel about 2-3 weeks ago , I mentioned I was celebrating my anniversary and the manager I believe her name was Isadora she made our stay very special by sending us a personalized card and some goodies, honestly the facilities could be better and are not really what I usually go for in a hotel , but the service I got was amazing and I will definitely come back !

No cold water in the rooms
Reviewed By 656gregoryjI was there 5 months ago, and returned again last month, against my better judgement, they still have no hot water in the rooms. Considering the current lack of security, it is absurd to expect travelers who are still willing to come to Haiti to deal with this nonsense, i asked to speak to the manager, I got the runaround by the ladies at the reception desk all day. Nothing but excuses all day long. Stay away if they cannot confirm that they have fixed this hot water issue. For the prices that you are paying per night and for the shuttle, I would advise that you call and confirm ahead of time whether they have fixed this issue. Completely unacceptable.

The only beach hotel on the north coast. Right in the middle of your excursions to Labadee, Cadrasse, Amiga Island and the Citadelle. Best seafood on the island. Renovated rooms with AC, wireless internet, balcony facing the ocean, tropical park. Very personalized service. Wedding, conference, honeymoon. With the NEW ROAD 25 minutes from airport. Now free transportation from and to airport and city.
Please avoid this place at all costs!

The entire staff needs a simple course in Customer Service 101. When the resort is terrible, you at least need to make up for it in the service area. The water and electricity is a MAJOR issue. In one morning my electricity went off 5 TIMES! That is horrible. My friends that stayed at a resort nearby did not have this same issue. When it went off I would call the front desk, but guess what the front desk did not answer so I had to physically walk to the front desk just to ask them to turn the electricity on. Also, while I was in the shower, my water went off. Guess what?? Again no answer from the front desk. I had to walk to the front desk and ask them to turn the water back on. Imagine begging full of soap and having to walk to the front desk. When I got to the front desk, the girl was there so why not answer if you see a customer calling. They tried to say the the entire country had the water and electricity issue which wasn’t true because my friends at a different hotel had none of the electricity/water issues, nor did I experience these issues when I stayed with them for a night. The man who also helps at the front desk, and sits in the room at the front was NO HELP! When I advised that I had no electricity and no water, he said, “Ok.” Ok??? What??? How about a simple apology. An apology goes a long way. It was very hard to communicate with him. He was full of excuses, no results , and lacked apologies. The staff was rude, and just different than anything I’ve ever seen in my life. The drinks and food was terrible, and don’t count on the owners to help at all they were useless. It really seems as if they just aren’t ready for tourist. I truly regret spending my time and money here. A friend of mine came to the resort for drinks, and the bartender was so rude to him. He would ignore him, and give very dry & cold responses. He breathed as if he was exasperated. Haiti is a beautiful country. Haiti was having protests at the time, and I truly understand that, so I will most certainly give Haiti another shot, but at a different hotel. Please DO NOT spend your money here.

Good menu at restaurants and the chef will personally cater to yoir needs. They wil also take care of your safety and book safe transport and tours for you. No need to take riska on your own.

I was meant to just stay a few days at Karibe to see some friends, but decided I'd rather be here than anywhere - even in spite of the dire and cataclysmic warnings against traveling to Haiti... I was met at the airport by the hotel shuttle, complete with armed security (and a cooler of ice cold Prestige). Travel to the hotel was uneventful, despite the war zone people say Haiti is right now... I was upgraded to a Jr. Suite thanks to the amazing employee that is Steevenson. I was spoiled by the bar and restaurant staff, Yves, Michelson, Manager Patrice, Darlen, housekeeping, security, and everyone in between. A million thanks for an amazing stay. Lakay se lakay and you make me fee like I am at home every time.

Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel safe and well cared for. They offered excursion options as well. Thanks to them I got to experience the Citadelle! The Kinam hotel has been fully renovated and has a total of 118 rooms and suites. 85 In the new building and 33 vintage rooms in the gingerbread hotel. We added a tapas bar lounge, a coffee shop, a wine bar,and 4 conference rooms. We have 2 restaurants: Le Rond Point and Kinam Terrace. We also added a few boutiques and a barber shop.

Reviewed By xandraayitiMy significant other had treated me to a night at one of the best hotels in Petion Ville for my birthday. I had a good time. This hotel is very luxurious, clean and the view on the balcony is pretty nice. I will definitely come back.
