Restaurant's Downgraded/disappointed service
Reviewed By Abdulla ABefore this review, Sharadil Restaurant WAS my family's favorite restaurant in Shamakhi. We just missed this restaurant and visited it with the same expectations as before. Unfortunately, we were greeted and served by the same waiter/host, who was the only one member of staff. Although it was spring time, the weather was cold and restaurant was not heated. We made an order. First of all, it took ages to service so many tables with only 1 waiter. Second, traditional tandir bread was outdated from the yesterday, which is a disaster for such type of the restaurant. Second, qutabs and khinkalis were pre-cooked and re-heated. Third, dolma was super salty, so we couldn't eat the food. Last but not least, kabab was dry and portion was too small. Kompot was poured from the opened bottle, bought from super market. I raised the complaint to the management, which was not on the spot and could only respond me via the phone. What they did, only apologized and linked this incident with the change of the management. Seriously? If there was zero star, I would have given you 0. Not recommended at all!

Very poor service
Reviewed By saidiks2022Nature is great, overall very quiet and beautiful place. Wi-Fi is great! The only service I fancy was housekeeping, cleaning. Reception is not friendly, no smiles, no warm greetings. That is not a service provided by 5 star hotel. We asked for payment receipt, but never received one. Breakfast is not a buffet. When I asked for coffee they offered me paid options which is weard, usually coffee always included into breakfast like tea. Also no options for people who doesn't eat white bread. We asked for complimentary water, reception replied that for 2 people housekeeping put 2 bottles and that's all. During my stay I had a feeling that I'm indebted to this property, they were doing me a favour OMG. That is not a proper attitude to the guest. I will never stay in that place again and will not reccoment it anyone.

Simple But Comfortable
Reviewed By SCS123Stayed for a couple of nights - simple hotel, but the room was clean, a good size, comfortable and with adequate facilities - no complaints at all. Nice gardens surrounding the hotel building and a pleasant breakfast enjoyed in the garden. A short stroll into the centre of Lahich and not far from the couple of restaurants we found that were open ! Pleasant stay and a good option amongst the few hotels in Lahich.

Not a resort of course, but a decent hotel
Reviewed By Emin1234567Located in the downtown, it is a 4-star hotel with reasonable price. Rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was quite good. We enjoyed Finnish sauna, you have to reserve it in advance (at least 30 minutes, in advance). Each reservation is for one hour. Small indoor swimming pool is available. For dinner the best place is Orman restaurant, which is located in 10 mins drive from the hotel.

Reviewed By Phil KWe had a one night stay which I'd booked via Facebook Messenger (it was the only medium i could get a response from) and Booking com were only offering doubles (we wanted a twin). We arrived late due to a full day long detour (via most of central Azerbaijan) by our driver we got from Baku. On checking in it was apparent that the night staff had no prior knowledge of our reservation. It did not matter however because I think the number of guests staying were outnumbered significantly by the staff. The room was very nice, as was the spa and the breakfast was plentiful. Not too much around the hotel in terms of nightlife, although we did manage to get a beer and watch some world cup football in a kebab shop near the hotel... Until the TV packed up. That was when we had the cunning plan of watching the second half in the hotel bar. On entering the unlit bar the staff lept to action, one fairly adapt at switching lights on another was quick to hand out the menu's. Sadly the head of TV controls was unavailable, so although we got the TV on, the supervisor was required to operate the remote control. Whilst waiting we were told the local (cheapest beer) wasn't available so had to have overpriced Efes. We were best part of half way through the beers before been told the TV can't show the football and were directed to the top floor where they had a large plasma TV, plenty of the cheap local beer, if only the man employed to reduce the volume from eardrum shattering level everything would have been perfect. Very nice hotel, i would stay again and enjoy the comfort and luxery of the room and spa.

Reviewed By nicatmanafDrive 300KM to Shamaxi for staying booked over Booking. They did not accept us because we are 3 people not married and just friends for staying there. Night 21:00 we sleep in the car at Shamaxi streets. Never, ever reserve on there.

Excellent place to make a stop during a long way to the regions. Beautiful views from all points of this hotel and restaurant! Only one thing that they need to check and fix is toilets.
