Honorable Tradition The Hotel and Restaurant Rose has more than 200-year history Our house has a long history as a catering operation. Even in the 18th century, guests could dine well here. Over time, the Hotel and Restaurant Rose was known for its culinary achievements far beyond the borders of the country. Benjamin and Christian Maerz build on this honorable tradition now. Their parents led the operation for more than 20 years. Since the summer of 2013, the brothers of the house now draw on their own fortunes and they strive for a rich gastronomic experience. With a young, creative cuisine Benjamin Maerz has already cooked up a Michelin star for the restaurant. As the youngest star chef in Germany at the moment, he is known throughout the region. Restaurant Manager and Sommelier Christian Maerz has his own personal style and has been a great contribution to this success, and he creates an atmosphere in which food is simply a pleasure. Together, the brothers complement their strengths. For them, it's loose and relaxing, the crowd is mixed and favors a versatile culinary experience without any social pressure. A new chapter in the more than 200-year history of this venerable Hotel and Restaurant Rose has opened.
Too hot in summer
Reviewed By Knersus007The room was ok, although quite hot for the time of year (and of course - no aircon!). The breakfast was ok - nothing to get excited about. The bed was very comfortable, although the duvet provided way too hot. The location is really good - just a few steps away from the old town. The staff was not really friendly or welcoming, but I did not have enough interaction with them to say if they are always like that. The check-out process took crazy long and resulted in me being late for my meeting. The room was very hot so I had to sleep with a window open. This resulted in a sworm of bugs coming into the room, and the vehicles that drove past the street below was surprisingly loud so I did not sleep very well.

Most of them are renovated. Furthermore, we provide free parking. Conference rooms for max. 25 Persons and a sauna are available at the hotel. In our cosy restaurant we offer typical Swabian dishes. It's open daily from 11:30-14:00 and from 18:00-21:30 except saturday noon.

Reviewed By Luigi RNice Was only 1 night stay. Great and close enough to old Town for nice walk. Will use again for longer stay. Lots of walking in and around hotel. Only 5 minutes from station and 3 min from large supermarket

Reviewed By francisc0antunesIt was a pleasant stay. There is a lack of restaurants options close by, but several Option 5 to 10 minutes away by car. The room is ok although a bit small. Watter in the bathroom has only sufficient power but acceptable.

Reviewed By AAdohaI stayed at Krone for over two months. and I have also stayed in some other hotels in Bietigheim area. For me, Krone is the best. - Great service, thoughtful and considerate people. The hotel manager is really a kind and decent person. They handled all my requests or concerns with excellence. I felt like a part of the family actually. - They provide FREE Laundry service which is super convenient, especially if you are staying long time. - Internet connection is Solid and convenient. - They provide you with a bicycle if you are into it. - They have both Rooms and apartments. So, if you have your family with you, They will be the best solution. - Very near to the bus stop. - Near to a great Greek restaurant. - Near to nice park. - Daily room service except on Sunday. It was quite clean and efficient.

Reviewed By WausPausThis is really a location for travelers that are looking for an authentic old fashioned German experience. The very friendly lady (probably the owner) is really doing her best to make the stay as convenient as possible. Everything on the floor where the 3 rooms are, is very clean. The kitchen is stocked with German groceries. There is always something to eat and drink. If you need something else, you just tell her and she takes care of it. The room itself is very much like a normal bedroom. The neighbors are actual cows and a couple from which the lady is trying out for some singing contest. She was practicing during 2 nights out of the 3. She definitely could sing very well. The village is very quit, the only thing you hear are the cars the go past the house. I would recommend this location if you need to stay near Stuttgart for a few days.

Reviewed By adamtL8622DUNice quiet place to take the family. We had the weiner schnitzel and zwiebelrostbraten. Would recommend both again. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area. Can’t speak for the hotel , but the restaurant is very nice.
