The perfect stay
Reviewed By GittrobIt was the perfect stay for our family (kids 3 and 6 yrs). There are just a few rooms so the place is never crowded and we often had the pool for ourselves. They were fantastic to our kids. We originally booked it for 5 days and extended because it was such a relaxing place - and we got an upgrade ;). The rooms are big. Dinner and breakfast were great. The pool is big and the beach is stunning. The kids loved it to jump in the waves - swimming was not really possible because of the waves. There are a couple of beach shacks close by or you can jump on a tuk tuk and go to the town. We highly recommend this place also for families!

Reviewed By Samud123I’m a repeat customer of this hotel. Love this place! Small Hotel, Nice Pool , Beach Front and Good food! Most importantly Mr Farrel Blom and his team doing a fantastic job there! Farrel is a good Manager and a fantastic chef too! Very nice experience ? I have been to Hotel J Ambalangoda 5-6 times. Quick drive from Colombo, beautiful pool, beach access, Pizzas? and their breakfast has made me a regular here. New Manager Sharon is a very friendly, helpful gentleman and his new chef Zoysa’s pizzas and fried rice dishes are top class. Pool attendant Dileep knows his job very well and very helpful too. Parking available.

Great Ayurveda in small Boutique Hotel

But if you want to be by yourself in a small hotel, just to relax with the sound of waves and sunsets, and lose weight, I would book this hotel for max a week. I stayed here for 5 nights ayurveda via Fitreisen.de What I liked: +grear Ayurveda treatments, you can also tell your wishes +everyone is super sweet and does their best +have an informative chat with the hotel manager who shares a lot about Sri Lanka; who is also very open for feedback +wave sound, very relaxing for the mind +amazing sunsets +you lose weight here as typical ayurveda food; but you can also tell your wishes about shakes, chicken or coconut to drink +every day yoga +very cheap booking; you can expect luxury for this price What I did not like: -fungi pool mattresses, but the hotel mgr promised to fix it quickly -smell of towels -ants in bed bcs of flower decoration -doctor informs you at the end about your Dosha?! Shouldn't it be at the beginning?! -street sound which is directly in front, but you get used to it with the nice wave sounds Little hints: +be careful with the ocean waves, never go alone; I didn't go in +this is the sister hotel from Oasis in Hambantota South, would prefer that but it is 4 hrs further in the south +within 45min 80LKR quickly in beautiful Gaelle for a day trip via local bus +see the lying giant Buddha 800 LKR or the turtle recovery station in Ambalangoda; otherwise nothing to do +within 20 min by local bus at the beautiful but crowded beach Hikkaduwa +wanna have a food change? Go to SerendipityItaly hotel 3km to the right and have original pasta and pizza from Italy +local bus trips are safe also for single women, just avoid night time

It's just close to ambalangoda bus terminal and also walking distance to railway station.Hotel room charges are reasonable.The hotel owner is upul is very nice and kind.If you any thing extra yhey can kindly provide you...the chef cooks tasty italien and Srilankan food..on your choise.tasty food with nice envirmont..beautiful terasso in 4 th floar...team is friendly and kind.Had a great time in Hotel italia . On our holidays...rooms and toilets cleaned daily.they speak english..there are beautiful beaches around..we loved the place..we would like to visit hotel italia again. Desila paul Vienna Austria.

Visit us, just to feel the warmth hospitality of a Srilankan family.. Beach is just 100m from the property. City Centre, Ambalangoda Railway Station, Bus Stand, restaurants & super markets are just 2 minutes drive from the house. 2 km away from the madu river. Boat rides, adventures, fish therapies etc This is an ideal place for a secured, calm comfortable stay within Southern coast of SriLanka

Reviewed By 891gayanrNice & clean air conditioned rooms. Overall it was a relaxing environment. Friendly people and excellent service. They had bicycles which we used for evening trips around the area. We had our privacy. Walking distance to the beach.

Spent many nights and relaxing could not have asked for a better location - so happy we picked this villa over staying in a hotel, loved all my time there , hope to go back soon and stay in the this same villa. The villa is a short tuk tuk ride from town , staff at villa were amazing assisting us with everything from cooking , to grocery shopping to arranging tuks tuks, recommending places. The villa was huge and rooms lovely , there is AC which is a life saver, view is breath taking. I felt completely relaxed and at home :)

Reviewed By Sahil MI was in a rough situation and had no money on me at all and I found this place, I talked to the owners, and the couple let me stay with them, even though I did not have any money. They gave me a warm welcome and I really liked the house. It is extremely close to the beach and the room barely has any mosquito's, so don't worry to much about that. Everyone near the accommodation is friendly swell and the neighbours are always smiling. However, I do recommend to buy a data package, because the wifi is pretty slow

Reviewed By Kire TWe travelled as a couple in February 2022. The location is just perfect. We were accommodated in Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View. The room is big, cosy, clean, comfortable and with A/C. We had a fantastic ocean and beach view from the room and a balcony. When I said balcony, you will have the most delicious breakfast there. Both Gee and Bim are professional chefs and cooked for us delicious meals like seafood, fish, BBQ. The beach area in front of the house has clean turquoise water and a vast sandy place where you can relax perfectly without being disturbed by anyone. There are also sunbeds in the garden. Bim & Chenda and Gee made us feel like a part of their family. You don't feel so much like a guest but more like a part of the family. They invited us to Bim's wedding. Our stay was very exceptional—only unforgettable memories. Congratulations, Bim and Chenda, again!

Reviewed By lapaloma59Eine sehr geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe eingerichtete Villa, sehr gepflegt, direkt am Meer - so haben wir unser Urlaubsdomizil vorgefunden, die Fotos haben nicht zu viel versprochen. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Angestellten sehr freundlich und stets bemüht, unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Allen voran Krishan - er organisierte Ausflüge, tolles Essen. So konnten wir unseren Urlaub genießen. Die Spaziergänge am menschenleeren Strand, Schwimmen im Meer, die Sonnenuntergänge vom Pool aus genießen - es war einfach nur schön. Wir kommen sicher wieder!
