Our group (10 people) had to have small brake on a way from Poland to Denmark. KTV was perfect option to refresh before ferry trip. We arrived late (after 10pm) and had to leave 5am next day. That is why hot shower and clean rooms was what we were looking for. And this we got fully.

Dock Inn Hostel Warnemunde

In the scenery of the port, shipyard and big ships, just a stone’s throw away from the town centre, river, and beach, you can find the first upcycling hostel built from detached overseas containers looking back on a fruitful life on the seven seas. Providing all the important things, yet remaining easy-going, the Dock Inn equally delights active holidaymakers, design enthusiasts, families, and backpackers. And this is what we even were awarded the renowned ‚Deutscher Tourismuspreis‘ (German Tourism Award) for in 2017.

Zur Fahre

Pleasantly Surprised

Reviewed By HSE_Chap

This turned out to be one of those unexpected surprises. I stay in Greifswald regularly for business. Unfortunately on this trip my usual hotels were all full and the company booked me in the Zur Fahre and initially I wasn’t exactly happy. BUT I quickly realised how nice this place really is, The staff were excellent and very friendly. The rooms are a little unusual in that the hotel in general has a traditional German feel, but its mixed with nice modern spacious and airy rooms. Which are clean and super comfortable. As I’m familiar with the area I avoided eating in the Resturant until my last night when quite tired I couldn’t be bothered to go somewhere else. I have to say it turned out the food was absolutely outstanding I had an excellent meal washed down with excellent draft beer. Every single thing about the stay here was positive, the food, the friendly staff and the nice rooms. The only negative comment would be the internet is pretty poor in terms of business use but I guess most people who stay here are getting away from connectivity and the internet rather than using it so for the few days I stayed it wasn’t a major issue. In summary, nice rooms, nice staff, great food and very good value for money. Certainly I’ll be coming back......

Amazing hostel

Reviewed By Lovingrostock94

I spent three nights in this wonderful hostel. It's a beautifully renovated old building, the room and the shared bathroom were very clean. The staff is extremely helpful and kind as they allowed to store my additional baggage in a seperate storage room. There is also a kitchen for guests downstairs which is just perfect. Thank you guys once again for the best welcome to Rostock!

Rugen Surfhostel mit Tiki Bar

Hostel for groups of all kind, nature, watersports, location for weddings, birthdayparties, Tiki Bar with livemusic

Nice place to stay but tree house quite expensive for its value

Reviewed By esteban70

The Surf hostel is a mixture of a camping and hostel. Groups can also lodge in the barracks on the grounds. Showers (joint ) and toilets are located in the sanitary building. Generally more a camping feeling than a hostel feeling. We stayed at the tree house house 3 nights. The tree house is 2,2 x 2,2 m large. So enough space for a double bed and a bit of extra to put your luggage. There is however a large terrace next to the tree house ( approx 3x4 m ) where you can relax ( hangmats ) and see the sunset. There is also a small fridge next to the tree house. We paid 100 per night for the tree house. Viewing its size and comfort this is quite expensive. No complaints otherwise about the warm reception, the location, the food & ambiance... Fyi: Rugen has almost no Wifi ( and sometimes no telephone connection ), but it has beautiful nature and beaches.

Very nice hostel next to usedom. The beds are very good (mattresses). Also you should order the breakfast for 6 euro, it is like in a hotel prepared buffet with much more choices than most hostels offer.

NoHotel Hostel

Our Hostel is located at the village of Dranske, in the north-west of Germany's largest island Rugen. If there's wind (the area is also called "Windland") we have perfect surf spots for nearly all wind directions. The spots are reachable by feet or maximum 10 minutes by car. As typical for a hostel we offer quite cheap accommodation in 3 categories. Double room (with a double bed and with an own bathroom), apartment (consists of a kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom) and dormitory(a room with bunk beds for 5-7 people and shared facilities, of course separated by gender). It is possible to share a kitchen. There is a store in the village where you can buy all the daily stuff. There are also some restaurants in the village.
