Amazing Hostel

Reviewed By affani2021

My experience here being great would be an understatement. From the beginning, the staff makes you feel extremely welcomed and make you the priority. With everything going on with Covid-19, there were still lots of programs like yoga and boxing offered and made sure everyone can be involved, of course while practicing all the safety guidelines. All of the leisure areas were continuously cleaned and kept in great condition. The location is also ideal if you wish to go travel and sightsee this beautiful country. This hostel is in the mix of it all! All in all, one of the best hostels I’ve been to for sure.

Hostel/backpacker Accommodation

Cheap, clean, convenient location for transport

Reviewed By Anja-Superlekker

I booked this hostel because it is literally next to 7th Circle, where a lot of the intercity JETT buses arrive and depart. It is also across from a modern mall with good eating options nearby, and I was due to arrive in Amman late, and didn't want to negotiate transport/taxis/etc. Due to an unscheduled landing in Turkey, my arrival got delayed by 12 hours, and I suddenly found myself there at 6am after a no-sleep nightbus instead of 8pm the previous night! However... communication with the hotel was great - I had booked with Booking and used their messaging system to inform then I'd be late, and they spontaneously offered me a late checkout so that I could sleep after my night bus journey. The place was deserted when I arrived early, but reception had a WiFi code and some contact numbers. After 15minutes, I managed to rouse someone, who showed me to my dorm (female 4-bed dorm all to myself). To be honest, I only slept there, then moved on, but the welcome was great and the hostel very clean. It is in the basement of a residential building,s dorms are on the small side but have extra storage space and lockers for belongings, and a very large well-equipped communal kitchen. It was very cold when I arrived, but that seems standard in all places in Jordan that aren't at least a four star hotel. Bed linens were clean, beds a little on the soft side but perfectly adequate. Given the very low price and excellent location, I have no hesitation to recommend this place, especially if you are planning to use the services of the JETT buses. It is a rather long slog into Downtown and Rainbow Street area (it took me over half an hour in Amman traffic) so bear this in mind if you are planning on viewing Downtown Attractions. There was no public transport nearby to speak of, but taxis are plentiful, metered and can easily be flagged down by the main road. They are not expensive provided you are taken the direct route and traffic is calm which it usually isnt. Some drivers don't speak English/don't know the most basic locations so having a phone with functioning data and a navigation app might not be a bad idea.

TERRIBLE!!! CHECKED OUT IMMEDIATLY!

Reviewed By Sandra H

I actually cannot believe the other reviews... What happened the day I checked in? Firstly...everything stank of smoke. I got into my room (which looked nothing like any of these pictures) There were flies, dust and stains on the sofa... The final straw was when went into the bathroom and their was actual EXCREMENT on the toilet. Immediately checked out! When I complained to two staff members, they actually just laughed at me, looked me up and down and then continued to converse in arabic. This is my 9th time in Jordan and this hotel was absolutely disgusting. NEVER again.
