When we arrived nobody was there. The hotel was closed. There was no reception; just a groundkeeper opened us the doors.We stayed one night. There was a party going on in the event-area of the hotel. Our floor was vibrating because of the music being played until ca. 4:00 am.The room was quite large, but missing any comfort. There weren't any hooks for jackets, no welcome brochure, basically just a room with beds and a bathroom.Breakfast was ok (standard german buffet).

Wir sind mit Freunden auf einer Tour hier vorbei gekommen und haben die Schaschlik und Currywurst probiert. Top!!!Hat Spaà gemacht und lecker war es auch.Beim nächsten Mal sind wir ganz sicher wieder da.Weiter so, viel Erfolg.

If you hate smokers you must go to another place, because smoke is allowed!!!! The place is ok with a smoke ambience. The foo is very good and the lady from staff was amazing, she got our dinner after the kitchen has been closed. (After 22:00)Try the Klassiker Schnitzel with Champignons sauce is a lot of food and very tasty!!

Das Lokal bietet neben einer Tageskarte im günstigen Preissegment auch verschiedene Gerichte auf der Karte an, die sich im Bereich 'gut bürgerlich' ansiedeln. Dieser Anspruch wird insgesamt jedoch nicht erreicht. Man kann beobachten, dass die Gerichte sehr schnell, innerhalb von wenigen Minuten serviert werden, was Rückschlüsse auf die Herstellung und Zubereitungsart erlauben. Höhere Anforderungen sollten nicht gestellt werden, eine gute Hausmannskost kann man nicht uneingeschränkt erwarten. Vor allem bei guter Auslastung erscheint der Service überaus hastig und sehr wenig am Gast orientiert. Unter diesen Aspekten erscheint das Preisniveau inzwischen allerdings auch nicht mehr angemessen.

It's a little bit on the expensive side, but it's worth it. Decoration is very nice and there's a little lovely garden outside. Meat is very good, but it doesn't reach the level of my favorite steak houses. In any case it's still much better than your average one. The pasta with beef is huge. Even in this case in which it was not the main ingredient, the meat was perfectly cooked. Service was very nice and accommodating. I will be coming back.

I wondered if I were on the wrong day at this restaurant. I've had great dinner at the Golf Restaurant & Club Gut Lärchenhof a few years back and was impressed by Mr. Messerschmidt who later on took over the Restaurant Auerhahn with his wife. Yupe he held the Michelin Star n lost it after leaving the golf area. The answer of my question, why the Michelin Guide doesnt reward him the star, was as easy as spending the dinner there last week. The Soup was ok. Nothing special with the pumpkin. But I wished it to be a bit creamier. The goose was dry and pretty black or burnt. I wish I have had complained. Now the dessert which turned a lot better than the 2 courses before. The Apfelstrudel. A flacky Apple pie with Vanilla Ice Cream. The best look that evening. The ambiance n Service werent not bad. Price would be ok if the food a lot better. I need to mention that the wine glas gadget broken frame and the bread Bowl as well. I wont come back as Im originally from Cologne n the area has loads better places than Auerhahn. The 3 Courses Goose Menu costs 39 ⬠and overall the main dishes are tagged around 20-25â¬.

The restaurant is associated to the neighbouring golfclub, but also welcomes "other" guest very friendly. We went there for lunch and spent an amazing time in the sun on the huge terrace overlooking the beautiful golf course scenery. The food was excellent - especially the presentation on the plate. We had a fresh fish from the region, a pork dish with Spanish meat and a very German "Currywurst", probably the best currywurst we've had. Wine offer seems to be good, but we kept to the more traditional drinks. Coffee was also good.thanks for your excellent rating and feedback report. hope to see you again soon :-)

This restaurant has the same menu as the Fledermaus in Sinthern. It also offers a good selection of international dishes including lamb, interesting salads, seasonal dishes and has a good wine list. In summer you can sit outside in a lovely patio decorated with oleander trees.The service is good, and waiters are friendly. The decor is modern and very inviting. All in all it is very much to be recommended.

We go to this place since it has opened and it never came up to me that I should review it because I was sure that the rating here would be in the top region. The more I was astonished today that the overall rating is not where it should be. I don't know what went wrong with the other people who went here but I can just assure you, go here and you won't be disappointed. There are two restaurants in one big room, one is a Michelen star restaurant and the other one is a bistro style thing. Prices are absolutely fabulous (5 EUR today for a desert from the daily menue is really a bargain). You will never have any parking issues, the setting is fabulous, you can sit outside in summer, the staff is marvelous, the wine selection is great. We have been here with so many american business partners and they always loved it, just loved it! On top they always take great care of my allergies, another plus. For us this is a 5 out of 5 possible star place.

First visit to this restaurant and it lived up to all expectations. Excellent food presented and served perfectly. The lamb in particular was delicious and to be recommended. All of our meals were plentiful and cooked to perfection. A comfortable venue with great ambience and friendly attentive staff. This is a restaurant certainly worth a visit.
