We often go here as we live nearby. There is always a selection of the day, including soups, fish and seasonal dishes like asparagus and goose. The food is very tasty, always fresh and the salads in particular, are excellent. The restaurant is a converted barn with wooden beams and is decorated in a rustic style. The decor is welcoming and attractive with an open fire in winter. It is a wine restaurant with an extensive and excellent wine selection. The waiters are friendly and the service is good. We have never been disappointed nor had a bad meal here, so we very much recomend it.

We go to this place since it has opened and it never came up to me that I should review it because I was sure that the rating here would be in the top region. The more I was astonished today that the overall rating is not where it should be. I don't know what went wrong with the other people who went here but I can just assure you, go here and you won't be disappointed. There are two restaurants in one big room, one is a Michelen star restaurant and the other one is a bistro style thing. Prices are absolutely fabulous (5 EUR today for a desert from the daily menue is really a bargain). You will never have any parking issues, the setting is fabulous, you can sit outside in summer, the staff is marvelous, the wine selection is great. We have been here with so many american business partners and they always loved it, just loved it! On top they always take great care of my allergies, another plus. For us this is a 5 out of 5 possible star place.

This restaurant has the same menu as the Fledermaus in Sinthern. It also offers a good selection of international dishes including lamb, interesting salads, seasonal dishes and has a good wine list. In summer you can sit outside in a lovely patio decorated with oleander trees.The service is good, and waiters are friendly. The decor is modern and very inviting. All in all it is very much to be recommended.

Restaurant Velderhof is out in the country, located in one of those brick-built farmhouse squares that are so typical for the Rhineland area. The restaurant, which is about 20 minutes away from Cologne and Dusseldorf, is open to the public (and also the golfers of the neighbouring Country Club) and offers an excellent setting for good quality, wholesome food - often sourced directly from regional producers in the vicinity and always prepared on the spot. The inside features a charming setting in the old horse stables or a magnificent view into nature in the larger pavilion overlooking the park and golf course. When the weather is nice, expect two large terraces inside the courtyard and outside the pavilion respectively. Whether for just coffee and cake on a Sunday afternoon, a nice evening menu with your loved ones or as a location for a family or company event, the lovely staff will always try their best to provide a most excellent experience.

The restaurant is associated to the neighbouring golfclub, but also welcomes "other" guest very friendly. We went there for lunch and spent an amazing time in the sun on the huge Terrace overlooking the beautiful golf course scenery. Very enjoyable meals to be had at this comfortable and friendly restaurant. Both the starters and mains were very ample portions and were well presented. Indeed the pizzas which two of our company had were not only large but generously covered with topping. The menu was varied and also included a diverse selection of choices on a specials board. Would certainly visit this venue again.

First visit to this restaurant and it lived up to all expectations. Excellent food presented and served perfectly. The lamb in particular was delicious and to be recommended. All of our meals were plentiful and cooked to perfection. A comfortable venue with great ambience and friendly attentive staff. This is a restaurant certainly worth a visit.

Having an Argentinian restaurant in the small town like Pulheim was quite a nice surprise. On many aspects, the Casita is highly recommendable. First and foremost, the meat is top quality.
Service was okay. The waiter felt like he had to try to be funny all the time, which was a bit tiring after a while.
For some reason, they removed the Gorgonzola sauce from the menu (it still appears on the online menu, though). That was a letdown because this is ma favorite. The meat was perfect, but my papa asada was overcooked.
Overall we had a good meal.
Now I am a big fan of El Chango in Cologne. The similarities between the two restaurants is striking. The menu and prices are very comparable. Even the little appetizer they bring as a welcome snack is pretty much the same.
However, when considering the details, I prefer the El Chango. The place is much cosier, the grill where they cook the meat is visible, the service is better, the price is same or less (while in downtown Cologne, not in a small town), the menu is larger...
The Casita is a true contender to El Chango but the sum of all the small things make the El Chango a better choice.

If you hate smokers you must go to another place, because smoke is allowed!!!! The place is ok with a smoke ambience. The foo is very good and the lady from staff was amazing, she got our dinner after the kitchen has been closed. (After 22:00)
Try the Klassiker Schnitzel with Champignons sauce is a lot of food and very tasty!!
