Das fast versteckte Restaurant firmiert zwar unter Suppenbar, kann sich aber von der Speisekarte her mit jedem gut bürgerlichen Restaurant messen. Der Service ist flott und hilfsbereit, die Küche (Chef selbst!) italienisch gefärbt und schmackhaft. Die Portionen sind mehr als ausreichend; einfach gesagt: empfehlenswert.

If you want4 star gourmet meal for a 2 star price, here it is. Over the course of my life I have been to a lot of restaurants. This was one of the best I ever been to. Very unpretentious but nice. The whole atmosphaere is welcoming and inviting. The food is to die for. Especially the fish.

The staff make this place. I visited a couple of times and they remembered me. Although their English is not too good they really tried and had a smile at all times.

We had a relaxed dinner here. The rolled roast pork with red cabbage was tasty. weiner schnitzel with fries and potato casserole good although the vegetables are too soft as cooked too long. Service was friendly and the waitress did her best to understand our English. We were surprised to be charged Euro 3.50 for 400 ml of what we thought was tap water. The waitress told us it was a special bottled water...no bottle seen...and that laws for hygiene had become more stringent, preventing them from serving tap water.

Very nice location, right at the lake - although you are probably only able to appreaciate it when seated outside - we did not check out the inside of the Gasthaus.We had fish - saurer Aal and Dorsch - both of which were nice and well prepared,.

Guter erster Eindruck ! aber nur ein Kellner für das komplette Restaurant.Getränke leer, kein Blick seitens Kellner fürs Auffüllen - Umsatz liegen lassen...Speisen OK, Kürbissuppe ohne Salz. Lauch macht das feine Aroma kaputt.Zu wenig Pasta beim Hünchen, Gurken passen nicht in Pasta.Dammwild zu trocken, zu wenig Jues..Alles in allem gutes Restaurant, gewisse Empfehlung,...besser werden !

Fantastic setting but the food is rubbish - especially for vegetarians. I sent my food back because it was cold. It returned in the same condition. They offered me a cup of tea while I waited, which was nice. In general though, average service, poor presentation and delivery. All I can recommend is the location.

We had 8 guests with kids and service was overwhelmed due to lack of experience. Apertizer was overcomplicated in weird constellation where no flavor was complementary to each other. Main dishes were prepared below any standard. Most dishes were burned in oil which made poor presentation and made them in essence uneatable. Exception was stake that arrived 10 min late but was cooked well. Overal cheff lacks skills and no taste to handle such complex menu. Too bad as town desperately needs decent place to eat.

The building is great: an old factory that is now a cinema and restaurant, re-desighed with a lot of taste. We could eat outside in the garden: very nice atmosphere.On the menu everything was apetizing: the food follows the seasons, the meat is mainly bio and comes from the neighborhood. The dishes were original, not tipycal from what you find in this part of Germany. Also the wine was good. The staff was nice. It was just perfect. They had a menu for 21 euro, the first dish was between 7-9 euro, and a main dish between 12-15 euro.
