Typical German restaurant with kind and great service.Quite popular by the locals but there was no problem to get a table in the biergarten.Their Schweineschnitzel Wienerart mit Erbsen und Möhren und Pommes-frites for â¬6.90 was a bargain and the beer was nicely priced.Really recommended!

After trying to get into Miss Peppers and failed we decided to try here after having coffee and cake earlier in the day, and we were not disappointed as the food I had the Wietzendorfer meat plate and sister had a schnitzel with BBQ sauce which she said was one of the best ever. my meal, mine was mouth-wateringly good and the khrauter butter was fantastic, nice cool beer and great service from the staff and not overly priced

We ate here on our last nights stay on sudsee-camp. I can honestly say the steak I had was up there with the nicest I have ever had! Perfect!!The rest of the food was also excellent as was the beer! Excellent way to end our week, watching the sun go down! Recommended.

Nice, easy-going hotel and restaurant in the countryside. Just a small trip from Bergen or Soltau to this rustic, 10-house (farm) village. In summertime some outside tables are available, but the inside "stube" and dining rooms are the normal place to eat. It's a little dated, but that doesn't influence the solid menu with seasonal extra's. For me it's been a solid menu of Hochzeitssuppe and a Forsterpfanne for years, and probably for years to come (when passing by).The place is being run by a nice family and coming here feels a little like coming home every time.

stumbled on this place by accident looking for anywhere with a table on a very busy Saturday whilst visiting the Christmas market. Deceptively large compared to impression from outside. Tastefully decorated and furnished cosy modern interior catering for parties from small to large. Excellent service from all staff. Menu is straightforward pasta/salad/pizza/burger style for very reasonable prices. The burger I ordered was the best I even tasted - truly excellent and the fries were also perfect. Nothing to fault at all and incredible value for money.

We came here by accident ... the locals arenât that young anymore but the service was very friendly and the food simple but VERY good! We came back 2 days later and again the food was fresh and very tastefull!

I had booked 4 beds in a room, but upon arrival we get two beds and two sleeps on a sleeping counch as hard as a wood plate. The room was clean but very old and a combination of what seems to be a mixture of different available furniture. No hooks for towels and no handsoap. Only small towels which is not so nice when showering. The room was in an annex where the owners live themselves next door! The annex was placed behind the hotel so iut was a very messy yard with kitchen stuff, wate, empty bottles, kitchen personell taking a moking break etc. where the guests stay! There is simply too much going on outside for it to be nice.The breakfast was very ordinary German gasthof style. The price for 4 persons here in the middle of nowhere was the same as in the centre of Wolfsburg so I had really expected something more personal, cultural and cosy here. Bad relation between price and what you get.

We arrived here early enough to walk around the Town and then had a leisurely meal in the Hotel restaurant. A good decision, the food was excellent and the service OK

Not only a café and a restaurant! Event surface take place regularly events such as Public Viewing, flea markets and other activities. For small money you receive a delicious breakfast or a freshly prepared lunch with ingredients from the region with us.

Having walked the length and breadth of the town (which doesn't take long) we were delighted to find this friendly, welcoming, atmospheric and thoroughly German restaurant. This Munster isn't on the tourist trail but leaves long memories for those who served in Dennis Barracks during the cold war. As in the UK, the German army has had severe cutbacks, which means the life has rather gone out of this, the training centre for their armoured (ie tanks) division. You still hear lots of heavy gunfire from the nearby firing ranges, but it seems relatively few active soldiers are actually in Munster today. But if you're in the area (for example to visit the memorial to the Belsen concentration camp, this is a good place to eat.
