Cham ist eine reizvolle kleine Stadt. Wenn man vom Bahnhof Richtung Stadtmitte die StraÃe hoch läuft, fällt einem dieses hochgelegene Café links auf. Ein netter Familienbetrieb, hier verweilt man gern bei einer Tasse Kaffee und hausgemachtem Kuchen, bevor der Stadtrundgang durch die historische Altstadt von Cham weiter geht.

Selten haben wir eine so perfekte Pizza gegessen, und da wir mehrfach im Waldlerhaus waren, auch sehr schmackhafte andere Gerichte, meistens im kleinen Garten vor dem Haus, der bei der groÃen Hitze im Juli den Vorteil hatte, nachmittags im Schatten zu liegen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Visited on a Sunday Lunch time after a recommendation. Wow. There was a special Spanish menu on offer, I had the mixed grill. What can I say, excellent. The service was a little slow, as the restaurant was full, but very friendly.Well rounded menu for all tastes and very good wine and beer selection. Prices were reasonable.

Good meals, good beer. Great service. Authentic atmosphere. This was my second visit of Lam. I always have at least one dinner or two in this place during my stay. Filed mostly with locals. Traditional Bavarian music is played. We always have a great time there.

Good choice of local dishes which are perfectly prepared and presented. Very nice atmosphere, sometimes with local music, and friendly and efficient service. Went there twice during our 3 day stay in Lam. Definitely a good experience.

My cousin and I spent the afternoon hiking up from Hamry on the Czech side of the mountain and the Osserschutzhaus was a very welcome sight. It was a beautiful hike but I was getting thirsty and the Osser Pivo was quite refreshing and the farmers sausages warm and tasty. The view is of course spectacular in all directions. A strong wind and cool temperatures along with a slight drizzle kept most people inside but it was not crowded even then. There are several directions and trails to choose from when choosing to hike here. A good map or a very careful study of one before you embark on your hike is recommended as one trail may branch off into several. You might want to pack a wind breaker or hoodie as the temperature in this region can fluctuate and weather conditions can change rapidly. The menu is small but will consist of typical Bavarian cuisine. Schnitzel, Sausages and the like. I enjoyed the warm sausages I ordered. If hiking from Hamry expect to spend the 2.5 - 3 hours hiking up, an hour at the summit and another 1.5 - 2 hours on your way down. It makes for a great day trip! Perhaps someday I will make it back.

Zuerst einmal verunsichert einen das, sagen wir mal, inzwischen schon Retro-Ambiente. Auch die Salatschüsseln auf einem Tisch wirken nicht gerade professionell. Aber die Zutaten sind frisch und lecker und der Herr Papa in der Küche versteht sein Handwerk. Eine klare Empfehlung. Was ich mir hier wünsche, ist eine neue Ausstattung mit zeitgemäÃen Möbel und ein paar frische Ideen bei den Speisen, um die doch sehr fleischlastige Küche etwas aufzupeppen. Nette und authentische Bedienung.

immer bergauf! toller Hof mit einer sehr liebevoll eingerichteten Gaststube. Wohlfühlfaktor garantiert und das Essen ist sehr gut. Für Paare, Familien und Feiern sehr gut geeignet.

Every waiter should go there and see how theses people work. I tzhink it is badly organized but what their staff can deliver is amazing. Very good atmosphere, best spätzle we had in almost a week.

We were at Grosse Arber, than we continue to the Lam. This restaurant was the first, which we met. It was a really good choice. We didn´t read reviews before, so everything was for us unawaited. Good service, delicious food, nice restaurant. There was no problem to warm baby food for our daughter. Perfect.
