Out for dinner with my boss. Very good fish, great taste. Maybe the price is not so cheap (I'm Italian, so I just compare to my country) but quality is very high. Lobster soup: in my heart forever.

Die Erfahrungen aus diversen Familienfeiern und vielen anderen Gelegenheiten haben immer nur ein Fazit gehabt: War richtig lecker! Der Inhaber steht selbst am Herd und bietet abwechslungsreiche und saisonale Küche. Extrawünsche sind kein Problem.Und das zu vernünftigen Preisen! Das Lokal ist am Wochenende vielfach ausgebucht, verfügt über einen Saal und einen netten Biergarten. Der Service ist das groÃe Manko. Die Servicekräfte sind durch die Bank Aushilfen, die Einen habens drauf, die Anderen ... Das Glück entscheidet! Ist plötzlich die Chefin mit am Start ist "Holland in Not".Das Essen ist wirklich prima und wir haben viele schöne Stunden im Effi verbracht, an einem, durchgehend, guten Service muss man wirklich arbeiten.

Schon öfters dort gewesen, mittlerweile zu Frühstück, Mittagsessen, Kaffee und auch Abendessen. Sehr nettes und stilvoll eingerichtetes Lokal mit toller kreativer Karte.Immer wieder aufs neue begeistert, wirklich gemütlich dort und alle bisher gegessenen Gerichte waren geschmacklich und optisch hervorragend :)Sehr zu empfehlen sind die ständig wechselnden Kuchenangebote :)

Erstmalig im Haus Broicherdorf gewesen. Wir hatten einen Tisch zugewiesen bekommen - Nähe an der Theke. Insoweit war der Geräuschpegel vorhersehbar - es liefen sowohl der Fernseher als auch das Radio. Wir bestellten Bolten und bekamen 0.3 l Gläser - ohne Hinweis das wir auch 0.2 l hätten bestellen können ( in der Karte war das aber natürlich aufgelistet).Von der Tageskarte bestellte meine Frau die Muschelpfanne mit Brot und ich aus der regulären Karte den Grillteller Broicherdorf mit Salat und Folienkartoffel. Die Muschelpfanne war soweit ok - hätte gerne etwas mehr und würziger sein können. Der Grillteller (Schweinesteak und Rumpsteak ) waren MengenmäÃig ok. Es wurde ohne Nachfrage Medium serviert - war aber ok . Folienkartoffel ausreichend groÃ, der Sauerrahm hätte deutlich mehr sein können. Der Salat war ok , wenn auch weitgehend aus Krautsalat bestehend. Gesamturteil Preis/Leistung soweit ok.

People in Kaarst who want Gyros or any kind of German Imbiss type of food come here. It is a famous and traditional place. Gyros is really good here but the Gyros Pita we cannot recommend. It is served in a Doner Kebap stylish bread. Also the fries could be better.

The problem with this place is not the food. The food is average, but acceptable for the price. However, the waitress has way too much to do, the cook is the slowest we have ever seen. We waited 35 minutes for a soup and another 45 minutes for the "flammkuchen" which is very basic and should take no more than 8 minutes to prepare. The restaurant was not crowded. We see big room for improvement in the management of the place. If the waitress does not get support, she will break down. The cook is unacceptably slow, and the variety of the food is miserable. A few basic types of "flammkuchen" and 3 basic soups... no salad, no butter is simply unacceptable in any place that is considered a restaurant.
