Das Strandhaus No 1 liegt am Ende der Strandpromenade in Göhren und hat einen Innenbereichen, einen überdachten AuÃenbereich und einen nicht überdachten Bereich. Für abends sollten Tische vorreserviert werden, da die Nachfrage groà ist. Die Karte überrascht mit pfiffigen Gerichten, die es wert sind, probiert zu werden. Nachmittags gibt es verschiedene Kuchen. Die Bedienungen sind aufmerksam und nett. Der Blick ist wunderschön.

Wir haben mehr erwartet von einem Fischer der die Speisen direkt anbietet. Der Preis ist günstig, aber die Qualität unterer Durchschnitt.

It´s not the cheapest restaurant, but average in the area. Not average by food, because it´s excellent! We had a steak and a fish, both was big, tasty and fresh. They do not fear of combinations (fish, spinach, pineapple, potatoe with sour cream. Delishious!Service is average, not very smiling and communicative, but nothing bad. In general? We recommend this place if you want to eat well.

Klein aber fein kann man hier nur sagen. Sehr gute Speisen. Das Restaurant liegt an der schönen Promenade. Unbedingt vorher reservieren. Zuvorkommendes Personal. Hätte Nichtgebräuche, dass man in einem Tennisstübchen so gut essen kann. Uns wurde das Restaurant vom Hoteleigentümer empfohlen.

Ein wirklich gutes Frühstück zu angemessenem Preis und dabei werden einem sogar die Brötchen noch geschmiert. Bedienung sehr höflich und nett. Man sagt was man auf seinem Brötchen wünscht und bekommt es fertig serviert. Das ist wirklich ein super service. Weiter so. Auf bald.

I knew something was different when I tried to purchase a parking ticket and the machine only accepted coins. Wow, itâs been a while since that happened to me. Anyhow just having arrived in Göhren I was hungry and thought Iâd try Bavaria Island. It looked quaint and quirky located on the platform of Göhren station. After feeling like the emperor in his new clothes from the way the locals were glaring at me I took a seat and glared back. The dorschfilet was excellently prepared as were the bed of vegetables it was resting on. I expected to receive a mediocre meal but it turned out to be fit for an emperor at the very least. I guess the service was about as friendly as it gets and it was certainly efficient. Iâm very thankful I wasnât served by a certain waiter who was shouting rude responses to the patrons after heâd turned his back. Iâd go back for the sake of the food but gosh there are a lot of angry people about in this place!

We sat outside, the terrace has a view to the Ostsee. The dish ( duet of fish) was nicely decorated, the service was good.

We just returned from a dinner at the restaurant. Great smoked fish option (try the sampler) great fish soup red or white and good fish platter (ostsee platte). we had a great time at this cozy restaurant. Service was great and efficient and it felt like every one helps out at this place. Great food as stated at fair prices. Good selection on local beers and fresh fish especially the smoked options

Small and cosy place with a naval touch. Not too many tables, very busy even in off season therefore a reservation is highly recommended.Very friendly welcome by the owner couple who obviously love their job with passion.Now for the food:Appetizer was very tasty and well crafted.Homemade soup was with a lot of ingredients and very well seasoned. Highly recommended!Main courses - fish or meat - were both excellent and the sides were very tasty too. The host shows the product before preparing it to you, which proves the quality of fish and meat.I can only recommend this place - go there when you are in the area!

This fish restaurant was very good. The menu includes typical German as well as international dishes. All were very tasty. The portions were adequate for us, but might not be enough for more hungry people; I recommend ordering an appetizer. The value-for-money could therefore be improved. The service was exceedingly friendly and very casual. The restaurant belongs to the Hotel "Deutsche Flagge" (see corresponding review here on tripadvisor). However, one can enter it without passing through the hotel, and so it does not have the feel of a hotel-restaurant.
